Eacon 2026 Interim: Fleet Near‑Double, Global Push(Sep 2)
Eacon Technology: 2026 Interim Results Shine — Autonomous Mining Truck Fleet Nearly Doubles, Globalization Accelerates
On August 26, Eacon Technology Co., Ltd. ("Eacon Technology") released its 2026 interim results. In the first half of the year, with continuously improving scaled delivery capabilities and deepening asset-light transformation, Eacon Technology's business structure and profitability further improved, achieving operating revenue of 549 million CNY. Autonomous Truck-as-a-Service (ATaaS) revenue reached 360 million CNY, accounting for 65.6% of total revenue. Gross margin improved to 18.9%, a year-on-year increase of 17.2 percentage points.
Meanwhile, Eacon Technology's scaled advantage in mining autonomous driving continued to expand. The company accelerated the replication of commercial experience from coal mine scenarios to the technically more demanding metal mine market and overseas markets, opening new growth channels.
As of June 30, vehicles deployed with Eacon Technology's "Zhushan" autonomous driving system exceeded 3,100 units, nearly doubling year-on-year. The company's market share in China surpassed 53%, firmly ranking first in the industry, serving 38 mines. To date, Eacon Technology has deployed over 3,500 autonomous mining trucks, with scaled delivery entering an accelerated realization phase.
For mining autonomous driving, scale growth means more than just increasing vehicle numbers—it tests technology stability, complex scenario adaptability, and continuous delivery capability. As of June 30, Eacon Technology had achieved single-mine deployments of over 100 autonomous trucks at 9 mining sites. Among these, 4 sites exceeded 200 units, with the largest single-mine deployment reaching 566 units.
Leveraging the synergy between the "Zhushan" autonomous driving system and the "Muye" smart mining digital management platform, Eacon Technology gradually formed a capability flywheel of "scale—data—technology—delivery," continuously improving solution standardization and cross-mine replication and delivery efficiency.
In the first half of the year, Eacon Technology successfully adapted to 16 OEMs with over 100 vehicle models, covering pure electric, diesel range-extender, methanol range-extender, and conventional diesel powertrains. As mining transport accelerates its transition to new energy, pure electric autonomous mining trucks have become a key development direction. To date, Eacon Technology has over 1,480 pure electric autonomous trucks in operation, ranking first in the industry.
Building on this foundation, Eacon Technology partnered with industry players to develop the EQ100E and AT150—pure electric mining trucks originally designed for autonomous driving scenarios. Unlike traditional vehicle conversions, these products not only eliminate the cab but also strengthen vehicle-autonomous driving synergy at the underlying vehicle design level, further exploring the product form of next-generation zero-carbon transport robots.
Compared to coal mines, metal mines typically use deep open-pit mining with long ramps, dense curves, narrow roads, and complex production processes, placing higher demands on the perception, prediction, decision-making, and control capabilities of autonomous driving systems.
In the first half of the year, Eacon Technology served 5 domestic metal mine projects. Notably, 60 autonomous trucks were deployed at the Zijin Mining Julong Copper Mine in a high-altitude, cold environment—currently the largest single-mine autonomous driving application in the metal mining industry.
Australia is one of the world's most important mining markets, with high standards for mine safety, production efficiency, and project compliance. It is also the first overseas landing point for Eacon Technology's globalization strategy.
In June, Eacon Technology, together with Zijin Mining and global mining services provider Thiess, made significant progress in the Norton Gold Fields project in Australia. The first batch of 6 autonomous rigid mining trucks entered real production at the Havana open-pit gold mine in the Kalgoorlie region, achieving round-the-clock operation in August. This project not only verified the reliability and localization adaptability of Eacon Technology's autonomous driving system in overseas high-standard production environments but also marked a "0 to 1" breakthrough in the company's global business.
Moving forward, Eacon Technology plans to use the Australia project as a strategic pivot to further expand into Southeast Asia, Central Asia, South America, and other mineral-rich regions, accelerating the replication and promotion of autonomous driving solutions in global mining markets.
In July, a project in which Eacon Technology participated as the second completing unit was awarded the Second Prize of the 2025 National Science and Technology Progress Award. This is the first time the National Science and Technology Progress Award has been granted to an autonomous driving project, signifying that mining autonomous driving technology and its industrial applications have received recognition from the national science and technology evaluation system.
In the core algorithm field, Eacon Technology continues to enhance prediction and decision-making capabilities in complex environments. Its independently developed joint trajectory prediction framework IMRv2 ranks first globally on both the Waymo Open Motion Dataset interactive prediction and trajectory prediction leaderboards, further demonstrating the company's technical strength in complex multi-agent interactive prediction.
Looking ahead, Eacon Technology will continue to pursue its "full-stack driven, all-domain growth" strategy, leveraging long-term technology accumulation and industrial synergy capabilities to deepen cooperation with industry partners and drive mining autonomous driving toward larger scale, more complex scenarios, and broader regions.
