On October 29, Zhuoyu Technology held its "New Journey" commercial vehicle technology launch event in Zhuhai, officially releasing its commercial vehicle technology brand: Zhuoyu Panxing (ZYT Prax Drive System). The launch marks Zhuoyu's expansion from passenger vehicles to commercial vehicles as its first cross-category mass-production business, achieving a closed loop from technology to commercialization.

Industry's First Mass-Produced End-to-End Model for Commercial Heavy Trucks

Zhuoyu successfully migrated its passenger vehicle autonomous driving model to heavy truck scenarios, inheriting 3 billion-plus kilometers of passenger vehicle data and nationwide production generalization capabilities, enhanced with 400 million frames of heavy truck-specific data. This breaks the industry assumption that end-to-end models can only be deployed in passenger vehicles, achieving the industry's first mass-produced commercial heavy truck end-to-end large model.

The model enables robust highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) for commercial heavy trucks, capable of handling complex scenarios faced by long-haul drivers. Future capabilities will extend to national and provincial highways for more comprehensive trunk route coverage.

Jimu 2.0 LiDAR: Seeing Far, Accurately, and Clearly

Panxing debuts the Jimu 2.0 system, a cabin-mounted LiDAR that is protected from rain, snow, and flying debris, eliminating the need for separate cleaning mechanisms. Compared to traditional split LiDAR solutions, it is better suited for the long-term, high-intensity operating environment of commercial heavy trucks. The Jimu 2.0 achieves a detection range of 500 meters at highway speeds, can identify small, irregular, low-reflectivity obstacles such as black tires and fallen boxes at distance, and filters noise through algorithms under strong light, rain, fog, and dirty conditions.

AI Fuel-Saving Algorithm and Safety System

Zhuoyu introduced an AI reinforcement learning fuel-saving algorithm that achieves a measured fuel saving rate of 4.5%-7.5%. Through simulation training, the model learns to optimize for gradient, curvature, drivetrain and braking system states, and surrounding traffic conditions. The safety system features three layers: multi-scenario safety alerts for curve speeding, pedestrian crossing, and lateral obstacles; all-weather active safety with automatic emergency intervention; and multiple safety redundancies including fault self-diagnosis and minimum risk strategies.

Partnerships with Top 6 Heavy Truck Brands

Zhuoyu announced that Panxing has partnered with China's top 6 commercial heavy truck brands: XCMG, Shacman, Sinotruk, FAW Jiefang, Foton Motor, and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle. These six brands collectively account for over 93% of the domestic commercial heavy truck market share. Specific milestones include: Shacman's Delong X5000 with Panxing PDS 4 has been in mass production since June, with hundreds of vehicles already operating on express delivery routes; Sinotruk's premium Sitrak heavy truck with PDS 4 is expected to roll off the production line by year-end; FAW Jiefang has designated PDS 4 for J7, J6 Pro, and Yingtu models; and Foton's Auman Galaxy 5 will be the first Foton model equipped with PDS 4, launching by year-end.
