The First Khorgos Automobile Foreign Trade Expo 2024 in Xinjiang and CNAUTO Automotive Equipment/Construction Machinery Cross-Border Exhibition was Grandly Opened to Seek New Cooperation in the Whole Industry Chain
In response to the "Belt and Road" initiative and deepening international cooperation in the entire automotive industry chain, on August 2, 2024, the First Khorgos Automobile Foreign Trade Expo 2024 in Xinjiang and CNAUTO Automotive Equipment/Construction Machinery Cross-Border Exhibition was officially opened in Hall 2 of Khorgos International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The expo is mainly organized by Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Automobile Maintenance and Modification (Decoration) Association, and co-organized by Yining Automobile Maintenance Industry Association, IBI CNAUTO platform, and Xinjiang TDD, undertaken by Xinjiang Huaxia Ruiyi Culture Media Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Element Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. With the theme of "New Cooperation in the Whole Automobile Industry Chain · Sharing New Economic Opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative", the Expo attracted many exhibitors and buyers from the automotive and auto equipment industries at home and abroad to participate in the grand event.
Zhen Fei, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Mayor of Khorgos Municipal People's Government, attended the scene and delivered a speech, and met with Sheikh, Chairman of the Kazakhstan National Association of Cooperatives and Other Forms of Economic Communities, Wang Ronghuan, President of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Automobile Maintenance and Modification (Decoration) Association, Dong Hongxing, Deputy Secretary-General of the Green Working Committee of the China Green Development Association, Chief Expert of the Automobile Industry, Member of the Automobile Service Industry of the China Automobile Modification Supplies Association, and Full-time Executive Vice President, Xu Yongping, Director of the Equipment Division of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Zhang Wei, CEO of CNAUTO platform, and other leaders served as guests at the opening ceremony, injecting official support and international vision into the expo.

As the only cross-border e-commerce platform of the Expo, the CNAUTO platform of IBI focuses on the cross-border of the industrial belts and sets up a rostrum to hold two cross-border matchmaking meetings for special products every day during the exhibition. And the IBI CNAUTO platform takes the opportunity to organize key foreign buyers to visit the digital exhibition hall of IBI.
At the first forum on the first day - "Special Products Cross-border Matchmaking Meeting for Automobiles and Used Cars" was held in a warm atmosphere. Experts, scholars and enterprise representatives from the industry gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as the international circulation of vehicles and second-hand car products, cooperation models and market trends. The participants said that the matchmaking meeting has built a bridge of cooperation for them, facilitating the further expansion of the international market and achievement of mutual benefit and win-win results.
In addition, all kinds of cutting-edge products such as auto equipment, construction machinery, agricultural machinery and auto parts were displayed at the Expo.
It’s worth mentioning that during the Expo, the Khorgos Sci-Tech Exhibition Hall of the CNAUTO platform of IBI was also opened at the same time. As the only cross-border e-commerce platform of this exhibition, the CNAUTO platform exhibition hall showcased the latest scientific and technological innovation achievements, focusing on the "1750" strategy (one platform, seven overseas centers, and 50 overseas warehouses) and the digital transaction operation, cross-border e-commerce and digital supply chain services of the automotive industry chain, and applying "platform, technology, and data" to the scene of the auto equipment industry chain, attracting many visitors to visit. Hu Xiaolong, the Manager of the exhibition hall, said that he hoped that through the platform of the expo, exchanges and cooperation with the industry can be further strengthened and the innovation and development of the automobile and auto equipment industry can be jointly promoted as well.
