Hankook Tire's original equipment market is booming
In fact, the supporting business has always been Hankook's development focus - using the brand influence in the supporting market to drive sales growth in the replacement market.
At present, Hankook's supporting business is also constantly upgrading, and high-end models of well-known automobile manufacturers have extended olive branches of cooperation to Hankook.
So far, Hankook provides supporting services for at least more than 40 automobile series. With the vigorous development of new energy vehicles and the increase in new energy vehicle models, Hankook's supporting business has also provided more development opportunities.
And Hankook's iON series tires are becoming an important boost to the growth of its new energy vehicle supporting and replacement business.
Leading new energy vehicle tire manufacturer
Although the development of new energy electric vehicles in many countries has begun to weaken, Hankook still believes that the new energy tire market is a track with huge potential.
Hankook found in its consumer indicator survey that the overall cost and accessibility of charging stations are the most critical factors in determining whether consumers buy electric vehicles. As electric vehicle manufacturers continue to increase their range and deploy charging equipment, Hankook believes that more and more consumers will choose to buy new energy vehicles.
And Hankook is doing its best to become a leading electric vehicle tire manufacturer. Hankook's iON series tires are the world's first full range of tires developed specifically for electric vehicles. iON tires are designed to bring out the best in high-quality electric vehicles and maximize driving performance.
iON innovative technology supports electric vehicles to perform better and continues to develop to optimize their performance. The iON series of tires can help consumers maximize the excellent performance of new energy vehicles and have a better driving experience. It is worth noting that Hankook iON tires also include tires specially made for winter and summer.
At the same time, the iON tire series is also a product of Hankook's practice of sustainable development. Hankook Tire is the first company among tire manufacturers to obtain ISCC PLUS certification, and two tires in its iON series have been certified.
Among them, iON GT (available in the European market) contains 77% sustainable materials. It is reported that in order to obtain the strict environmental certification of ISCC PLUS, it is necessary to implement sustainable development requirements throughout the entire process from purchasing raw materials to selling products.
