"Study on the Planning of Inland Waterways and Port Layout in Liaoning Province" Approved through Expert Consultation
Recently, the expert consultation meeting on the preliminary results of the "Study on the Planning of Inland Waterway and Port Layout in Liaoning Province," led by CCCC Water Transportation Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., was held in Shenyang. Representatives and experts attending the meeting unanimously agreed that the layout planning is comprehensive, highlights key points, and meets the requirements of phased results.
Liaoning Province's inland waterways are an important part of the inland water transport system in Northeast China and a vital aspect of constructing the Northeast sea-land corridor and improving the regional comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network. The study adheres to the overall deployment of building a strong transportation nation, and at the macro level, has completed the top-level design for the medium- and long-term development of inland water transport in Liaoning Province. Next, CCCC Water Transportation Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. will further advance in-depth research efforts, providing solid planning and technical support for the early resumption of inland waterway navigation in Liaoning and the creation of a green water transport corridor in the Liao River Basin.
