On December 5, it was reported that Japan's Nitta Company recently achieved an important step in its globalization strategy in Thailand. The new factory in the country was officially completed on November 26. This initiative is a key component of Nitta's "Transformation 2030" strategy, which aims to better serve the ASEAN region's automotive and general industrial markets and meet its growing needs.

It is reported that Nitta's original factory in Rayong, Thailand covers an area of 3600 square meters and mainly produces pneumatic and hydraulic hoses for automobiles, as well as plastic pipes and accessories. Today, the new factory, costing 140 million baht (approximately RMB 29.69 million), has doubled the production space, reaching a total area of 7200 square meters, and has been put into operation since July. This expansion not only increases production capacity, but also further consolidates Nitta's position in the Southeast Asian market.

According to Carbon Black Industry Network, Nitta has taken another important expansion action in Asia before the completion of the new factory in Thailand. In October, the company completed the relocation of the Korean hose and rubber parts manufacturing factory. The new factory is located in Guiwei and is 2.3 times the size of the old factory. This strategic move aims to support development trends in emerging markets such as new mobility and the semiconductor industry. The 23 billion won (approximately RMB 1.18 billion) factory will focus on producing hose and polymer pipe systems, general industrial hose, and pneumatic and semiconductor parts needed by the automotive industry.

Nitta closely links these expansion initiatives to its "Transformation 2030" strategy, which serves as the core of its long-term management plan to further promote the globalization of its hose and pipe products business to meet the diverse needs of the global market. Through continuous investment and expansion, Nitta is gradually building a more complete and efficient global production and service network.
