On May 23, the sulfuric acid market in Anhui continued to be weak. As of now, the price of 98% of smelting acid in Anhui is between 50 and 130 yuan/ton. In the early stage, the main acid factory, in order to relieve inventory pressure, increase profit margins, and expand sales radius, the current inventory pressure has eased, but the transaction price is still at a low level. The maintenance of some units in the main acid plant is coming to an end and is expected to resume by the end of this month. The start of major downstream chemical fertilizers remained at a low level, and the market for chemical products was poor and production was reduced. Overall, the market is still in a state of strong supply and weak demand, and short-term sour prices may continue to remain low.
