White sugar spot market: Mainstream transaction prices in China's white sugar market fell today. Among them, 7,320 - 7,380 yuan/ton in Northeast China, 7,250 - 7,380 yuan/ton in East China, 7,400 - 7,400 yuan/ton in Central China, 7,390 - 7,410 yuan/ton in North China, 7,300 - 7,300 yuan/ton in South China, 6,750 - 7,370 yuan/ton in Northwest China, and 7,020 - 7,130 yuan/ton in Southwest China. Quotation from processing sugar companies: Nanhua Group's new sugar quotation: Nanhua Kunming quotation is 7010 yuan/ton, down 20 yuan/ton; Nanhua Xiangyun quotation is 6980 yuan/ton, down 20 yuan/ton. Guangxi Nanhua quoted price of 7,140 - 7,190 yuan/ton, down 20 yuan/ton. Nanhua Jiangsu Town quoted 7270 yuan/ton, down 20 yuan/ton. COFCO (Tangshan) Sugar Co., Ltd. quoted price of imported processed sugar at 7310 yuan/ton, down 40 yuan/ton. Yingmao Group's new sugar quotation: Yingmao Kunming's quotation is 7000 yuan/ton, down 30 yuan/ton. Yingmao Dali quoted price of 6970 yuan/ton, down 30 yuan/ton; Dafeng Yingmao quoted price of 7300 yuan/ton, down 50 yuan/ton. Shandong Xingguang Sugar Industry's white sugar quoted 7300 yuan/ton.
White sugar market outlook forecast: The main contract price of white sugar fluctuated sideways for four consecutive days, and the market continued to reduce its position today. On the external side, data from the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Thailand shows that Thailand exported 605,300 tons of sugar in April 2023, a year-on-year increase of 63,900 tons, an increase of 11.80%. Short-term trade flows are still tight. Chinese white sugar companies have also flexibly adjusted spot prices recently, and sugar mills have relatively good production and sales, but current downstream terminal demand is not well accepted due to high white sugar prices. At present, the sugar season is full of long and short periods in the two markets, and it is expected that white sugar will remain high in the short term and will be mainly sorted out repeatedly.
China's white sugar index: According to data from Medical Equipment, China's white sugar spot index on May 31 was 6,963.32, down 12.69, or 0.18%, and the white sugar index was lowered.
