China's GDP increased by 5.2% year-on-year in the first three quarters

The National Bureau of Statistics released data on October 18. Preliminary calculations show that China's GDP in the first three quarters was 9.13027 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, calculated at constant prices.
  In terms of industries, the added value of the primary industry in the first three quarters was 5.6374 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%; the added value of the secondary industry was 3.53659 billion yuan, an increase of 4.4%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 5.02993 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0%.
  Looking at quarters, China's GDP increased by 4.5% year-on-year in the first quarter, 6.3% in the second quarter, and 4.9% in the third quarter. On a month-on-month basis, China's GDP grew by 1.3% in the third quarter. Source: Sinochem New Network
