On October 24, some prices in the sulfuric acid market in Shandong were reduced within a narrow range. As of now, the ex-factory price of 98% of smelting acid in Shandong is 60-160 yuan/ton. Recently, due to the imminent release of new production capacity in the western market and the increase in the start plans of some downstream self-owned supporting units, the supply of sulfuric acid is expected to increase. However, the demand in the downstream market is average and market purchases are mostly cautious. Today, the main acid companies lowered their prices by 50 yuan/ton.
