Analysis of China's rubber import and export data in November 2023

According to customs data, in November 2023, China's imports of natural rubber (including technical classification, latex, cigarette film, primary shape, mixed rubber, and composite rubber) were 557,600 tons, an increase of 11.31% month-on-month. From January to November, the cumulative imports were 5.895 million tons, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 9.24%.

Technical classification Natural rubber

In November 2023, the final value of China's imports of natural rubber including technical categories was 176,500 tons, an increase of 19.60% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 75.26%.

 The cumulative total import volume from January to November 2023 was 1.6043 million tons, an increase of 30.35% year-on-year.     

Among them, the main source countries of imports in November were: Thailand, Cote d'Ivoire, Malaysia, and Indonesia, accounting for 47.21%, 21.04%, 16.96%, and 11.72% of the total imports respectively. Thailand ranks first.

natural latex

In November 2023, the import volume of natural latex (40011000) was 43,800 tons, an increase of 4.93% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 45.44%.

 From January to November 2023, the cumulative import of natural latex was 409,300 tons, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 31.57%.     

Among them, the main source countries of imports in November were: Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, accounting for 52.30%, 46.30%, and 1.22% of the total imports respectively. Thailand ranks first.

 Natural rubber cigarette film

In November 2023, the import volume of tobacco film (40012100) was 1.11 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 24.06% and a year-on-year decrease of 64.86%.

 The cumulative total import volume from January to November 2023 was 157,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.45%.     

Among them, the main source countries of imports in November were: Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam, accounting for 59.13%, 17.81%, and 13.91% of the total imports respectively.

Mixture of natural rubber and synthetic rubber

In November 2023, China's imports of natural rubber and synthetic rubber mixtures (40028000) were 270,500 tons, an increase of 11.99% month-on-month and a year-on-year decrease of 17.74%.

 The cumulative total import volume from January to November 2023 was 3.3764 million tons, an increase of 13.40% year-on-year.     

Among them, the main source countries of imports in November were: Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, accounting for 56.19%, 27.82%, and 9.88% of the total imports respectively.
