[Industry News]: Yangon, Myanmar held a grand seminar on sustainable rubber development

This seminar was strongly supported by the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund. At the opening ceremony, Dunam Dakabo, Director of the Trade Promotion Department of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar, and Counselor Ouyang Daobing of the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar delivered enthusiastic speeches respectively. Many heavyweights in Myanmar's rubber industry, including Wu Mindoya, Director of the Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar, and Wu Tsao, Director General of the Myanmar Economic and Social Development Center, also attended the event.
In his speech, Counselor Ouyang Daobing emphasized the profound friendship and close cooperation between Lancang-Mekong countries. He said that Myanmar has unique natural conditions in the rubber industry, and China, as Myanmar's largest export market for rubber, has great potential for cooperation between the two sides in rubber trade. He hopes that through the in-depth advancement of Lancang-Mekong cooperation, Myanmar's rubber industry can achieve more sustainable development and bring tangible benefits to the local people.
