Lanzhou Petrochemical Rubber Operation Department has achieved remarkable results recently. Its 35,000-ton/year nitrile rubber plant line B has successfully broken the bottleneck of key equipment and successfully achieved the production of hard nitrile rubber. At the same time, other rubber devices in the department also maintained stable operating conditions. According to statistics, the system failure time after four sets of rubber devices dropped by 12.6% compared with the same period last year. According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, Lanzhou Petrochemical's 35,000-ton/year special nitrile rubber plant has successfully produced 15 different brands of rubber products since it was put into operation in May last year. However, during the production of high-propylene and low-propylene nitrile rubber, the device faced problems of leakage and uneven discharge, which not only affected continuous production, but also posed a challenge to the long-term stable operation of the equipment. In order to overcome these problems, Lanzhou Petrochemical organized an expert team to conduct in-depth research.

According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, Lanzhou Petrochemical's 35,000-ton/year special nitrile rubber plant has successfully produced 15 different brands of rubber products since it was put into operation in May last year. However, during the production of high-propylene and low-propylene nitrile rubber, it once faced the problems of material leakage and uneven discharge, which seriously affected the long-term stable operation of the device. In response to this problem, Lanzhou Petrochemical quickly organized a technical team to tackle the problem, and finally identified the root cause of the problem-the feeding problem of domestic extruders. Compared with imported equipment, domestic extruders have large differences in structure, which leads to the problem of poor feeding. After unremitting efforts, technicians designed two new structural templates and successfully solved the bottleneck problem through on-site experiments, thus ensuring stable operation of the device and significant improvement in product quality.

Chen Dongping emphasized that the overcoming of this technical problem not only broke the foreign technology blockade and reduced the company's dependence on a single supply source, but also achieved a "stuck neck" breakthrough in technology, providing a solid guarantee for the high-load stable operation of rubber devices and the continuous improvement of product quality.
