On May 30th, Jintai Chemical Shenmu Chlor-alkali successfully held the product launch ceremony of the industrialization demonstration project of 600000 tons / year high-performance resin and supporting equipment environmental protection innovation technology. Six transport vehicles loaded with mercury-free catalysis, green and high-quality polyvinyl chloride products and high-purity sodium hydroxide slowly drove out of the factory gate in a festive gun salute and officially put on the market. Zhao Jun, deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of Shaanxi Investment Group; Han Huzhong, member of the standing Committee of the Shenmu Municipal Committee and secretary of the Party work Committee of the High-tech Zone; Liu Xiaobo, member of the standing Committee of the Shenmu Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor; Zheng Bo, member of the Party Committee and chief accountant of Shaanxi Investment Group; and Chairman of the Trade Union Company of Shaanxi Investment Group. The relevant departments of Yulin City and Shenmu Municipal Government, project design units, supervision units, general contractor units, company partners, as well as relevant departments and brother units of the group system jointly witnessed the sale of products.

     Shenmu chlor-alkali 600000 tons / year high-performance resin environmental protection demonstration project with a total investment of 7.66 billion yuan, mainly building 600000 tons / year high-performance resin, 600000 tons / year ionic membrane caustic soda, 2 × 45MW back pressure generator set, 1.1 million tons / year calcium carbide slag production and supporting public auxiliary projects, started construction in October 2020, May 11, 2024, fully entered the trial production. Since the trial production of the project, it has attracted the attention of the government, the industry and all sectors of the community, especially the successful production of calcium carbide polyvinyl chloride products with the application of "green technology for mercury-free catalytic synthesis of vinyl chloride" for the first time, which has played an important demonstration and leading role in realizing the development of mercury-free, green and low-carbon industry.

At the beginning of the      ceremony, Jintai Chemical Party Committee Secretary and Chairman, Shenmu Chlor-alkali Party Committee Secretary and Chairman General Manager Xi Yingshang delivered a welcome speech, expressing sincere thanks to government departments at all levels and groups, participating companies, and customer units that have long cared about and supported the construction of the project. It is pointed out that the project integrates three innovative technologies, such as "green technology of mercury-free catalytic synthesis of vinyl chloride", "recycling technology of calcium oxide from calcium carbide slag" and "zero discharge technology of salt-containing wastewater", which are independently developed and cooperatively developed. it has made a breakthrough to solve the problems perplexing the industry, such as mercury pollution, solid waste disposal of calcium carbide slag and treatment of high-salt wastewater. The smooth commissioning of the project is an important milestone for Jintai Chemical to embark on a new journey of green and sustainable development, and will strive to set a benchmark for the industry.

During the      event, Liu Xiaobo congratulated the smooth sale of the products on behalf of the Shenmu Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. He pointed out that Jintai Chemical Shenmu chlor-alkali 600000 tons / year high-performance resin environmental protection demonstration project is one of the first large projects to introduce Shenmu into the throes of structural adjustment, realizing the accelerated evolution from yellow sand all over the land to a forest of factories, from "samples" of scientific and technological achievements to products, showing indomitable combat effectiveness, deep cohesion and tenacious creativity. It is hoped that Jintai Chemical Shenmu Chlor-alkali can stand on a new starting point, continue to show the responsibility of state-owned enterprises, continue to deepen cooperation between land and enterprises, lead innovation, and promote the high-end development of energy industry. He said that Shenmu City will be based on the overall situation of development, optimize the development environment, serve the development of enterprises, and strive to write a new chapter of Chinese-style modern Shenmu through the great efforts of cooperation between land and enterprises.

In his speech,      Zheng Bo affirmed the achievements of Jintai Chemical Shenmu Chlor-alkali and believed that the commissioning and trial production of the project played an important role in accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the green chemical plate of Shaanxi Investment Group, promoting the technological progress of the industry, building a green chemical science and technology IP, and promoting the coordinated development of surrounding industries, and laid a solid foundation for Shaanxi Investment Group to further build a scientific and technological innovation base of high-end fine chemical industry. She stressed that Jintai Chemical Shenmu chlor-alkali should firmly establish the concept of "profit by righteousness", actively practice micro-governance, micro-regulation and micro-living governance, and make overall efforts in production and operation management, safety and environmental protection, and scientific and technological innovation, so as to release high-quality production capacity as soon as possible, improve the benefit value in an all-round way, and make due contributions to the group's creation of a "3percent N" science and technology IP industrial cluster and the reconstruction of an "industrial new Shaanxi investment".
