As a severe drought has affected most of Mexico, Chemours "global chemicals company Altamira(NYSE:CC) announced today that it will comply with government requests and temporarily reduce water withdrawals, causing production to be suspended on its Altamira titanium dioxide production line. Titanium dioxide is a water-saving production facility in surrounding communities.

Due to the uncertainty of uncontrollable factors, Comus is currently unable to predict the duration of the event.

On May 31, Comus announced that starting from July 1, all sizes of Ti-Pure™ will increase the amount of Tio2 purchased in the Asia-Pacific region by US$100 per ton.
