Glass output: In May 2024, China's glass output was 5.3583 million tons, an increase of 6.38% year-on-year of 5.0371 million tons and an increase of 2.37% month-on-month of 5.2343 million tons; from January to May 2024, China's glass output totaled 26.38 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.3004 million tons, or 9.55%.
Glass operating rate: The glass market operating rate in May was 85.05%, a year-on-year increase of 6.21%, and a month-on-month decline of 0.95%. In May, there were 5 cold repair production lines, and 2 new production lines were added for ignition. Weekly output increased, but the operating rate declined slightly.
