Orylon recently implemented a new production strategy at its Jaslo carbon black production site in Poland, installing a number of tire pyrolysis oil (TPO) storage tanks.

It is reported that these TPOs will be pumped directly to the furnace black reactor and converted into round carbon black, including rubber-grade carbon black. It is worth mentioning that Auilon has thus become the first producer in the industry to use tire pyrolysis oil entirely to make recycled carbon black.

At the Jaslo plant, Orilon not only produces a variety of round grade carbon blacks, but also launches the ISCC+ certified Ecorax Nature 200. The launch of this product further demonstrates the company's determination in environmental protection and sustainable development.

In order to achieve its sustainable development goals, Orylon actively seeks to work with other companies and organizations committed to environmental practices, including close collaboration with organizations involved in the production of tire pyrolysis oils.

According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, Pedro Riveros, senior vice president of Oilon's global rubber carbon black, said when talking about this new trend: "We are leading the active transformation of the entire industry value chain, from the treatment of tire waste to the effective recycling of resources., we are committed to promoting environmental protection and sustainable development practices."
