The latest progress of Yuneng Fine Chemical's tens of billions of chemical projects

From June 12 to 13, the internal review meeting for the basic design of Yuneng Fine Chemical's 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project was held at Yulin People's Building.

    The meeting heard reports on the preparation status and results of basic engineering designs by five design institutes including China Tianchen Company. Based on the company's internal review, experts conducted a comprehensive review in groups according to majors. The overall review takes the form of consulting data, group discussions, stage reports, and professional review to review the design contents such as process, general layout, building, equipment, structure, materials, safety, foundation, fire protection, instrumentation, electrical appliances, telecommunications, and budget estimates. A total of more than 300 optimization opinions and suggestions were put forward. Finally, after discussion by the expert group, a consensus was reached that the basic design content and depth of the 1 million tons/year high-end chemical new material project basically met the requirements of the chemical industry's "Regulations on the Depth of Basic Engineering Design of Chemical Devices". After being improved according to the opinions, it can be used as the basis for the next step of work.

    The successful convening of the project's basic engineering design review meeting marked a critical step in the project construction and laid a solid foundation for the formal start of subsequent projects.

1 million tons/year high-end chemical new materials project

    The project has a presidential investment of 9.68 billion yuan and is located in Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The total land area of the project is 99.89%hm2. It mainly builds 400,000 tons/year DMTA units, 200,000 tons/year ethylene oxide units, 200,000 tons/year polyether water reducing agent macromonomers, 100,000 tons/year propylene oxide units, and 260,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide units (reduced to 27.5% concentration), 80,000 tons/year acrylic acid plant, 120,000 tons/year butyl acrylate plant, 400,000 tons/year acrylate emulsion plant, 40 Ten thousand tons/year of polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent device and supporting public and auxiliary devices.

    The project will begin site leveling on February 2024; it is planned to start ground management and full-site road construction in 6 pairs in 2024, start basic construction in September 2024, start equipment installation in 2025, and complete CCCC in October 2026. Source: Epoxy Industry Center
