National energy photovoltaic hydrogen production and coal-to-liquids projects are integrated

On September 20,     , the first phase of the project of Ningdong Renewable hydrogen carbon reduction demonstration Zone of the National Energy Group made important progress. The Qingshuiying hydrogen production plant under this project incorporated qualified renewable hydrogen into the coal-to-ammonia plant of Ningxia Coal Olefin second Branch for the first time, successfully realizing the whole process from electric energy to hydrogen energy to chemical application. This breakthrough marks the successful coupling of the world's largest coal-to-oil project and photovoltaic hydrogen production technology, and opens a new chapter for the National Energy Group in the field of hydrogen energy. The Group has made important progress in the integration and commercialization of the whole process of hydrogen energy production, supply and sales, and has been in the forefront of the country.

The      demonstration project is not only an important milestone for the hydrogen energy industry of the National Energy Group, but also an important achievement of the national key research and development project "key Technologies for Comprehensive Regulation and system optimal Operation of Coal Power and New Energy". Qingshuiying hydrogen production plant relies on 120000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation, using alkaline electrolysis water process to produce hydrogen. After purification and pressurization, the prepared hydrogen is transported through the pipeline to the coal-to-ammonia project of Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base, partially replacing the traditional gray hydrogen raw material and becoming the raw material gas for the preparation of ammonia. Under the catalytic condition of high temperature and high pressure, hydrogen reacts with nitrogen to produce ammonia. This has filled the gap in the coupling field of photovoltaic hydrogen production and coal chemical industry in China, successfully realized the demonstration of renewable hydrogen coupling in coal chemical industry, effectively promoted the transformation of gray hydrogen to green hydrogen, and further realized the substitution of hydrogen for coal and reduced carbon emissions. This innovative model shows the safe and efficient operation direction of the green hydrogen industry chain in the future.

     Ningdong renewable hydrogen carbon emission reduction demonstration zone project is built by Ningxia Branch of National Energy Group Guohua Investment Co., Ltd. The first phase of the project has a total investment of about 3.8 billion yuan, covering 500000 kilowatts of photovoltaic power generation capacity and 120000 kilowatts of photovoltaic hydrogen production capacity. The project has built two hydrogen production plants with a total hydrogen production scale of 20, 000 standard square meters per hour, as well as two hydrogenation stations with a total daily hydrogenation capacity of 4000 kg. The project is expected to produce 4508.6 tons of hydrogen per year, which will promote the application of green hydrogen energy on a large scale. This project is the first innovative ecological project covering the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy in Ningxia, and it is also the first whole industrial chain project in China that integrates the production, storage, transportation, filling and use of renewable hydrogen. Its highlight is that it integrates the function of hydrogen quality detection and becomes a typical case of green hydrogen energy whole process management.

     in addition, the second phase of the project is already under construction and is expected to be completed in 2025. In the second phase of the project, a hydrogen production plant with an annual capacity of 1697 tons will be built, and the project will be supported by the national key R & D program "hydrogen Energy Technology", namely "key Technologies and demonstration of 10 MW Alkaline-PEM hydrogen production system". This series of demonstration projects will further promote the realization of large-scale hydrogen production and enhance the technical level and operation capacity of the whole industry chain.

     this project is of great significance not only in China, but also internationally. It is the only typical case of green hydrogen energy included in the infrastructure section of "China Green hydrogen Energy Development Roadmap". The completion of the project is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 836400 tons per year, and the total carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by about 20.91 million tons during the operation period. This achievement not only has a breakthrough significance at the technical level, but also provides an important support for the transformation and upgrading of the local energy industry, but also provides a strong guarantee for the country to achieve the goal of carbon neutralization.

The exploration of      National Energy Group in the field of hydrogen energy not only stays in the production link, but also extends to a wider range of application scenarios. The Group gives full play to its comprehensive advantages of the integration of "coal circuit port and navigation" and "coal power oil gasification", actively promotes the coupling application of hydrogen energy and multiple fields, and forms the development model of "national energy green hydrogen" and "national energy hydrogen creation" with its own characteristics. Under this mode, hydrogen energy has not only been applied in coal chemical industry, transportation, railway shipping and other fields, but also gradually moved towards commercial operation. As China's earliest central energy enterprise involved in hydrogen energy, the National Energy Group is accelerating the large-scale layout of the hydrogen industry and reshaping the multi-energy pedigree such as "coal fire scenery and water, hydrogen core of oil and gas". Form a new pattern of industrial, technological, financial and trade integration, and promote the continuous improvement of the hydrogen energy industry chain.

     at present, the State Energy Group has arranged a number of demonstration projects of green hydrogen energy and ammonia alcohol in key areas such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Greater Bay area and Energy Golden Triangle to promote local industrial transformation and low-carbon development. Specific projects include Hebei Wanquan oil hydrogen power "trinity" integrated energy station, which has realized the integrated operation of renewable hydrogen production, storage and transportation, and further enhanced the application capacity of hydrogen energy in the field of transportation. At the same time, the successful application of the world's first low-temperature-resistant automatic hydrogenation robot for heavy-haul railway hydrogen-powered locomotives also marks the maturity of hydrogen technology in the field of railway transportation. In addition, the Ningdong Renewable hydrogen Project also relies on the "Guoneng e-business" platform to creatively create a global digital sales model of renewable hydrogen, and jointly build a green hydrogen-based product trading platform in Shanghai. This series of innovative measures marks the in-depth expansion of the national energy group in the hydrogen energy industry chain and innovative service chain.

    In the field of shipping, the technological breakthroughs of the National Energy Group are equally eye-catching. China's first 10,000-ton methanol dual-fuel electric propulsion bulk carrier "Guoneng Yangtze River 01" has successfully completed its fueling task, further promoting the application of green hydrogen-based fuels. On the basis of these demonstration applications, the National Energy Group will continue to focus on major scientific and technological research and international market cooperation, further integrate the hydrogen energy industry chain, supply chain, innovation chain and economic chain, and promote the global development of hydrogen energy technology.
