1. Before the transmission shaft is installed and used, first clean the joint surface of the connection at both ends; Then select fasteners according to the regulations, 8.8 grade for bolts, 8 grade for nuts and standard elastic washers, and fasteners with reduced strength grades shall not be used.
2. Before the first use, the cross shaft bearing should be filled with grease, and the sliding spline and intermediate support bearing should be added with an appropriate amount of grease; The grease is either lithium grease disulfide or lithium grease II.
3. For every 2,500 kilometers of trucks and buses and every 5,000 kilometers of long-distance buses, the key lithium grease disulfide or No. 2 lithium grease must be added at the cross shaft bearing, sliding spline and intermediate support bearing.
4. During the use of the transmission shaft, it is necessary to check whether the connecting bolts at both ends of the transmission shaft are loose; If the transmission shaft is found to have abnormal noise, vibration, loose connection bolts and other phenomena during operation, it must be maintained and repaired in time. The tightening torques for 8.8 bolts are: 23~26N.m for M8 bolts, 59~75N.m for M10 bolts, 95~111N.m for M12 bolts, 160~185N.m for M14 bolts, and 215~245N.m for M16 bolts.
5. During the use of the transmission shaft, the transmitted torque is not allowed to exceed the maximum original torque of the transmission shaft.
