Amaraja Batteries Limited (ARBL) is targeting to become a physical asset rupee company in the next two to three years, a senior official said, adding that the Hyderabad-based company has seen strong double-digit growth in the automotive sector. This will be Rs 10,000 crore.

ARBL looks forward to the contribution of the automobile industry. SSSARBL Vijayanand, CEO, SARBL, said that with the growth in the automotive segment, about two-thirds of the total revenue will come from the industrial sector in the next two to three years.

The company also sees potential in the following areas: with the growth of green energy, the solar industry needs clean batteries to store energy.

ARBL’s revenue for 2016-17 was Rs. 5,981.39 crores.

Asked if ARBL will achieve Rs 100 crore revenue when it comes to ARBL, Vijayanand said: “We are in two different industries so it depends a lot on the growth pattern of each industry but if we have our own way and what we can achieve, we may achieve that in the next two-three years. Heads up.

He added that the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of the company’s past revenues will be around 14-15% in the five years from now.

He added, “We expect double-digit growth to remain possible over the next two to three years.”

Automotive and Industrial segment in ARBL Revenue contribution $60:40.

“Historically, the typical automotive-to-industrial (revenue) ratio has been $603, $336, $040, but when you think about the market potential, it should stabilize at a two-thirds to one-third ratio,” he added. It took me years to get there.

Telecom and UPS are major players in the industrial sector, and solar could be a third factor.

“Installed solar capacity is currently increasing. Although it is a small share of the grid, we believe that solar’s share of total generation will become a strength at some point,” he said. It is created by those who store energy “to avoid peak consumption points”.

The company is also focused on the government’s development of 100 smart cities that need solar solutions, and can participate directly if there are large orders.

“We want to remain neutral and offer solutions to most participants, but if there are large projects that require consortium bids, we will open up to associations for specific projects,” he said.

Several states and ARBL are working on ambitious bidding programs for building various large solar power plants.

12-15% of exports go to South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East and some African countries, including industrial and automotive sectors.

p “So far, we have mainly focused on the development of the domestic market, but in the next 3-5 years, we plan to focus more on exports to countries where the tariff structure is not yet finalized. The overall size of the Indian battery market is estimated at Rs 2,700 crore.

ARBL is the flagship company of the Amara Raja Group, in which the US Raja family and Johnson Controls each hold a 26% stake.
