Bharat Forge acquires US-based WFT and PMT Holding

NEW DELHI: Auto parts giant Forge today said it has acquired Walker Forge LLC (WFT) and PMT Holdings Inc in Tennessee, US, for $14,000 said million (about Rs 9.51 crore).

The BSE filing said, “Bharat Forge Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Forge America, has acquired Walker Forge LLC (WFT) and PMT Holdings Inc, Tennessee, USA, for USD 14 million. USA.

The company added, “With the closing of the transaction, Walker Forge Tennessee LLC and PMT Holdings Inc, USA have become indirect subsidiaries of the company.”

The company announced the acquisition last month and said it aims to expand its product range in the automotive and other industrial sectors.

WFT It is a supplier of composite and high-alloy steel, engine and chassis components to many customers in the automotive and industrial sectors.

This American company expects to realize revenues of $280,001,000 this year, following the announcement of $1,000 Revenues of $100,000,000 after its revenue mix in the automotive and industrial sectors will remain balanced.
