Under the new regulations, all tires sold in India will have to meet key performance and safety standards such as rolling resistance, wet grip and rolling noise emissions. From 2023, domestic and international manufacturers and importers of automobile, bus and large vehicle tires will have to comply with the proposed mandatory standards.
