Kalyani Group contributes Rs 25 cr to PM-CARES to fight coronavirus pandemic

NEW DELHI: Kalyani Group flagship auto component giant Bharat Forge on Tuesday, other group companies pledged to contribute Rs 2.5 In order to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Rs 100 crore to the Prime Minister’s Citizens Aid and Relief (PM-CARES) Fund.

He said the group is still considering using its research and development facilities to meet its needs. Other contributing group companies include Kelia ni Steel, Saarloha Advanced Material Pvt Ltd, Automotive Axles and Hikal Ltd.

“We are utilizing the group’s research and development facilities to find ways to alleviate the shortage of critical medical equipment such as ventilators and respiratory equipment.”

Kalyani said the group has already started meeting the food needs of the community as part of its corporate social responsibility activities and will step up its efforts in the future.
