Amtek Auto to acquire Germany’s Rege Holding
NEW DELHI: Auto component maker Amtekek Auto today announced the acquisition of Rege Holding GmbH of Germany for an undisclosed amount.
Amtek Auto’s Singapore subsidiary Amtek Engineering Solutions Pte has signed an agreement to acquire the German company, Amtek Auto said in a filing to the BSE.
“Rege He added that he will provide component machining and assembly for automotive and non-automotive industries through the subsidiary.
Rege has two plants, one in Germany and the other in Romania, producing a variety of parts, including connecting rods, cylinder heads and gearboxes.
Amtek Auto “The deal will provide an enhanced machining platform to consolidate Amtek The Group’s global forging and casting business.”
The company added that the acquisition is expected to close in August 2015 acquisition year.
