LyondellBasell outlines ambitious roadmap for sustainable production goals

LyondellBasell Industries N.V., one of the world's largest plastics, chemicals and petroleum companies, today released an annual sustainability report designed to affect positive change by focusing on plastics waste, climate change and changes in a prosperous society. LyondellBasell announced one of the industry's most ambitious goals: to produce and sell 2000 million tons of recycled and renewable polymers by 2030 2000. The report sets out LyondellBasell's strategy and ambitions for the next decade. Key elements of LyondellBasell's Sustainability Report include actions on several fronts:-Recycling 2000 Recycling 2000 Recycling 20000 Increase investment in plastics recovery and recycling to accelerate the solution to the plastics waste problem-Reduce carbon dioxide emissions per tonne of product by 15% per year by 2030 compared to 2015.
