China PE Prices slightly Increased Last Week (June 12-16)

According to the monitoring of Todudu product market analysis system, as of June 12, the domestic LLDPE (7042) price was RMB 8,028 per ton, and the average price on June 16 was RMB 8,028 per ton. According to the monitoring of Rabbit Doodle Product Market Analysis System, the average price of LDPE (2426H) ex-works rose to RMB 8,470/mt on June 12th and RMB 8,500/mt on June 16th. It rose 0.35% in the same period.
According to the monitoring of DouDou product market analysis system, the average price of HDPE (5000S) ex-works on June 12 was RMB 9037 per ton, and the average price on June 16 was RMB 9037 per ton. The offer price will not change during this period.
Polyethylene prices rose slightly last week. LDPE prices rose slightly. Prices of other brands remained stable. The fluctuation of international crude oil prices has a certain supportive effect on polyethylene prices. LDPE equipment has maintenance program, petrochemical companies prices rose, traders follow up with high enthusiasm. Agricultural movies are in off-season with limited order follow-through. Demand is underperforming due to the high number of parking and maintenance units.
Polyethylene manufacturers are going through heavy maintenance and planned production and supply pressure in the market is not high. However, weak demand in the polyethylene market is expected to lead to a shock correction in polyethylene.
