Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts (TKAP) on Tuesday announced a change in senior management with K N Prasad taking over as Managing Director. Prasad is currently the senior vice president of the company. He will replace KG Mohan Kumar in 2022, year 1 after his appointment at the monthly board meeting, the company said in a statement.
In his new role, Prasad will be responsible for the strategic direction of TKAP's India business, the statement added.
Prasad has a total of over 33 years of experience, including over 20 years with TKAP.
Apart from in-depth industry knowledge and deep understanding of the evolving industry scenario, he also has extensive experience in production, engineering and quality. This is expected to further contribute to the overall growth of the company at this critical juncture, the company said.
