China PE Prices Rose Last Week (September 4-8)

According to the monitoring of Todudu Product Market Analysis System, the price of domestic LLDPE (7042) was RMB 8,450/mt on September 4th, and the average price was RMB 8,485/mt on September 8th. Over the same period, the asking price rose 0.42%.
According to the monitoring of Rabbit Doodle Product Market Analysis System, the average price of LDPE (2426H) ex-works was RMB 9,600/mt on September 4th, and the average price was RMB 9,670/mt on September 8th. Over the same period, the asking price rose 0.73%.
According to the monitoring of Rabbit Doodle Product Market Analysis System, the average price of HDPE (5000S) ex-works on September 4 was RMB 9,212 per ton, and the average price on September 8 was RMB 9,312 per ton. During the same period, the stock price rose 1.09%.
Last week, the overall price of polyethylene mainly increased. On the cost side, strong oil prices had an upward effect on polyethylene prices. Last week, many equipments were temporarily offline, resulting in lower start-ups and a slight drop in supply.
