OQ is using the Univation Technologies UNIPOL PE process to process two 440,000-ton per year polyethylene (PE) plants at the Liwa Plastics Industrial Park in Sohar, Oman. OQ operates two world-class plants with full-density polyethylene product capabilities, offering a flexible product portfolio covering a wide range of HDPE and LLDPE applications, including conventional and specialty grades. This is a step toward a more sustainable future for OQ's polymer products and polymer production.

OQ selected Univation's complete technology platform, including PRODIGY, for Twin Peaks HDPE to produce high-performance Twin Peaks HDPE technology for products including PE1000 pipe and Twin Peaks HDPE film applications. OQ will also use the Univation ACCLAIM K-100 HDPE Various single-peak HDPE technologies to produce Products include high-quality HDPE film and durable, large-side blow molded products. OQ also selected UnivationUCAT resin technology for a variety of high-volume applications, including highly competitive HDPE and LLDPE products. OQ also began production with Univation's XCAT metallocene PE metallocene PE technology to meet the growing demand for metallocene films, including sustainable, high-performance food packaging solutions and durable bulk packaging applications.

To enhance its operations training program, OQ selected Univation's advanced software platform for virtual process training (UNIPOL PE Virtual Plant Simulator-UVPS). UVPS software provides OQ with Univation's latest generation of process simulator training tools. UVPS provides an impactful, real-world training experience that covers all UNIPOL PE critical process tasks, including conventional and non-conventional operations training experiences. Luis Cirihal, President of Univation Technologies Luis, commented: "We are pleased to be working with OQ on the successful start-up and continued operation of this new family of reactors, and our dedicated Univation team will continue to focus on supporting the enhancement of OQ's manufacturing capabilities.

Two flexible reactor platforms can produce the competitive polyethylene products that today's customers demand. "Reactor The range allows for rapid adaptation of our product portfolio to capitalize on new customer opportunities in the future." Univation continues. Our business model extends far beyond the successful design, construction and operation of polyethylene plants. Our goal is to build a lifetime of service. We look forward to building on this foundation and building a great partnership with the OQ Collaboration team to achieve our business goals and continue to successfully operate our two UNIPOL PE reactor lines. "We offer our support." Khallid Al Ghaithi, Vice President of Operations, Liwa Plastics "Choosing a technology platform with proven reliability in large-scale designs was also an important criterion for us, as was choosing a technology licensee with an uncontested delivery record." Successful World Class Multi-Reactor Projects-We are pleased to serve Univation Technologies and UNIPOL PE Technologies for Soharr and our team is committed to providing the local market with the quality products that PE satisfaction requires. Ghaithi is excited and passionate about providing products for export and has achieved his business goal of serving key customers in major export regions.
