Menthol declines on reduced offtake

10 NEW DELHI: Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to reduced offtake by consuming units amid adequate stocks.
Increased arrivals from producing belts in Uttar Pradesh also weighed on the menthol prices.
Menthol bold crystal, flake and mentha oil prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 1,750, Rs 1,655 and Rs 1,605 per kg, respectively.
