2012 BMW 523 Deluxe, mileage 127560 kilometers, change gearbox oil
This car is a second-hand car belonging to a friend’s house that was sold and purchased after the Mercedes-Benz ml350 was in decline. It has driven more than 20,000 kilometers. I originally planned to sell it and replace it with a new car. The harvests in the past two years have been bad, but I am always reluctant to part with it because it is a 6-cylinder, so it feels so good to drive and I like driving. There was nothing wrong with the car, but today, I suddenly thought of leaving it for a few more years, so I simply replaced the gearbox oil pan. I have a few pictures below. I don’t know how to do it. Let’s just see, friends, don’t spit it out! After replacing it, it feels smoother than before.
Open the oil pan to drain oil
Replace oil pan
There is a lot of iron mud-like dirt on the magnet
German-made oil pan replaced by the original car
It’s still quite clean after putting in oil
The oil pan is exactly the same as the one that was replaced, and the quality looks okay
ZF transmission oil, total cleaning waste and added. Used 11 bottles
It was pressed in by hand. Three bottles were pressed in first, and dirty black oil was released during the vehicle ignition cycle.
The old oil is black and black, and the new oil is clear, transparent and light green
Finally, check and clean the lower side, load the bottom cover, and complete the work!
