Because there are a lot of cars driving, on the morning of December 15, my bmw app reminded me that it needed to be maintained again. The content of the prompt was: engine oil, fuel filter, air filter, spark plug, and dust filter. So, I made an appointment for the second guarantee today. The arrival at the store was 23135 kilometers, so this time it was 11351 kilometers. According to the app, there is actually 2000 kilometers left before maintenance.
As I mentioned in my previous post on Shoubao, there was no burning of oil (whether it was the display of the electronic oil gauge or the measuring cup measuring the actual oil discharged, but the spark plug was not removed), so 5.75L of oil was added at that time. This second guarantee is for free maintenance of 100,000 kilometers of oil filter and spark plug for five years. Yesterday, the electronic oil gauge still showed the maximum amount. Today, when putting in the oil, I still asked the master to take it in a cup. The two cups add up to about 5.25L, which is the same as last time, which is more than 11000 kilometers, consuming 0.5L of oil. I think it’s normal. I took out the old spark plug and looked carefully. The two were dry, and the two were slightly black and slightly brown crystals of engine oil (not the wet one). They were not serious. Therefore, I don’t think it’s burning oil this time. The new oil still adds 5.75L. The oil was not burned. Perhaps the reason why 525Li is not as powerful as 530Li, so the pressure in the cylinder is not large? Maybe it’s because my road conditions are good? (My car’s apparent fuel consumption does not exceed 6 cents. In fact, it does not exceed 5 cents per kilometer every time I add fuel. I often use Beijing’s Fifth and Sixth Ring Airport Expressway)
As I said before, there have been two occasions when the screen is black and restarted immediately, but there has been no impact. It has been almost a year, and there have been two occasions in total. I don’t think it’s a big deal. TV, mobile phone, computer, and iPad will all restart, right? So this time we haven’t upgraded the car system. It’s still a very old version 11/2021.40. Everyone said that the 1122 system is good, but I don’t care, because I don’t think there is anything wrong with the current version. I am afraid that the upgrade will bring uncertainty, and I don’t want to delay that time.
The tire pressure during the first maintenance period was adjusted to the front 2.4 and the back 2.8. Now that the temperature has dropped in Beijing and it is too cold, it has often been displayed recently to the front 1.9 and the back 2.3. So I adjusted the tire pressure to the front 2.3 and the rear 2.7.
The air filter, air conditioner filter, and gasoline filter were replaced. The two masters worked together throughout the process. Including the car wash, it was completed in 2 hours. There are almost no people in the 4S store because it is sunny everywhere in Greater Beijing recently.
Recently, I don’t have to go through the Fifth Ring Road and the Sixth Ring Road to get to and from work. I have changed to the Third Ring Road and the Fourth Ring Road, and everything is extremely smooth. I wonder what I can do next week…
