After comprehensive consideration, it was finally decided to change the small four-piston caliper to the 530. Reasons: 1. The price is very high. Many 530 calipers used for dismantling original cars have many new colors and are very easy to find. 2. The brake disc has been increased to 348, and the piston has also been changed from a single piston to a four-piston braking force. 3.525 It is the same brake drum as the 530, so there is no matching problem. 4. Many people change mp calipers. First of all, they say that mp is a senior calipers and they will have concerns that the drum cannot be pushed. Many feedback that after changing mp, the brake strength is not as good as before. Secondly, there are very few real owners of mp calipers who demolish cars, and it is difficult to find things. Of course, merchants renovate a lot, but I still only want what the owners have.

It was removed 10,000 kilometers away. The brake pads are still very thick, but they are a little dirty. It doesn’t matter. The appearance is fine. Cleaning will take minutes.

When the calipers are disassembled and the paint is painted at high temperatures, high-temperature resistant paint must be baked. The brakes are still very hot under extreme circumstances, so ordinary paint may start to be fine, but under special circumstances or over a long period of time, problems will occur.

There was a problem during the modification process: because all the calipers were removed, the brake oil had to be replaced again. Since my shop did not have a press dedicated to changing brake oil, the brake oil was changed manually. After replacing, the brakes are soft and the braking point is low. At first, I thought it was a disk running-in problem, but later I learned that it was caused by bubbles in the replacement of artificial brake fluid. After that, I went to the 4th and used a professional press to change the oil again. The feeling of your feet immediately improves. The soft feeling before was gone. It felt as soon as you stepped on the brake, and it was very comfortable and linear. The braking effect is also improved than before. The key is that the appearance is much better.
