At the 15th Beijing International Automobile Show in 2018, BMW Group will usher in the strongest launch camp in history, with a total of 14 models on display.

I Vision Dynamics concept car debuts in Asia for the first time. Its pure electric mileage reaches 600km, and it takes only 4s to accelerate at a maximum speed of more than 200km. The successor to the concept car has been named BMW i4 and will be mass-produced at the Munich plant. The new car will be equipped with BMW Group’s fifth-generation electric transmission system and the latest battery technology. With this transmission, the mileage of the pure electric BMW can be up to 700km, while the pure electric mileage of the plug-in hybrid can be increased to 100km.

The BMW i8 convertible version was officially unveiled at the Beijing auto show, and the new car made its debut at the 2018 North American auto show. The BMW i8 convertible is the world’s first plug-in hybrid two-seater convertible. Its soft roof can be opened or closed in about 15 seconds below 50km/h speed.

On the power side, the BMW i8 convertible version is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, which consists of an upgraded 1.5T engine + motor. The maximum power of the system reaches 406Ps, which is 46ps longer than the old BMW i8. The acceleration time of 0-100km/h is only 4.6s. The new car has a pure electric mileage of 53km, which can be recharged in 4.5 hours for slow charging and 3 hours for fast charging.

Based on the flagship lineup of the new BMW 8-Series, BMW X7 and BMW 7-Series, BMW Group will redefine “modern luxury” with a new design language and a unique and comprehensive travel service experience.
The BMW 8 series concept car was unveiled overseas last year, and this visit to China gives us a glimpse of the elegant demeanour. This is a large two-door coupe, the whole car makes people feel very athletic.
In terms of power, according to the overseas registered trademark of BMW, the BMW 8-Series may offer four models: “850”, “860”, “M850” and “M8” in the future. 4.4L V8 twin turbocharged, 6.6L V12 twin turbocharged engines and plug-in hybrids may be available. A mass production version of the new car may be officially unveiled in June.

In terms of appearance, the iconic double-kidney intake grille is larger and looks very domineering. Headlamp shape is very sharp and connected to the grille, but also the use of LED light source, Angel Eye LED daytime driving lights shape is also more slim and dynamic. The bottom of the front face adopts a penetrating design, which improves the overall sense of the front face.
In terms of power system, the BMW X7 will be equipped with different power V6 and V8 engines, the top model is expected to be equipped with V12 engines, and the new car is also likely to launch plug-in hybrid models in the future.
