Disadvantages: because of the large body, it is inconvenient to move / park in the narrow space; because there is no optional electronic waist support, the comfort of the waist support is not good; the automatic wiper is not effective in the case of low rainfall (I prefer timing wipers); there are many start and stop functions

Q: why did you choose this car?
A: originally, the old car in my family was considered to change after 15 years of service. At that time, I considered the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, GLC, BMW 525s and other cars. After comparing them one by one, I chose between GLC and 525s. Because there were not many discounts on the Mercedes-Benz side, and I liked BMW’s sports style and there happened to be an existing car landing at the dock, I wanted to mention the car before the Chinese New year, so I persuaded my father to buy 525s.

Since driving this car, my car view has changed, and I also understand why luxury cars can be sold so expensive and the added value that luxury cars can bring to car owners.

The first is motivation.
In the past, driving a 1.8L non-turbine car was very difficult to accelerate, even though the throttle was pressed a little deeper, the car was still speeding up breathlessly. After driving this 525, I realized that even for the entry-level luxury model, its power output is by no means comparable to that of some ordinary family cars with low engine and low horsepower. Although the car’s horsepower is only 184 horsepower, thanks to the excellent training of BMW, I feel that the car has 200 horsepower. As soon as I step on the throttle, a steady stream of power will come up, and I will soon be able to catch up with the car in front of me and surpass them.

To be honest, I didn’t understand why some people who drive BBA or other luxury cars like to drive fast. I have found the answer since I started driving 525. The power of these high-power luxury cars tells the owners that the speed limit on the road needs to be increased!

The second is that it is easy to be “impressed” and enjoy VIP treatment.
When I drove the 525 to the hotel or mall parking lot, the security guards there treated me differently. I tried to find a nice parking space for me to park. Unexpectedly, I can also enjoy a VIP treatment, how cool!

The third is to move and park in narrow places.
As the car is 5 meters long and 1.8 meters wide, moving and parking in narrow places is a great test of car owners’ skills. I can understand that the passageways and parking spaces of some old parking lots in the old city are very narrow due to historical reasons. But I have to complain that the passageways and parking spaces of some newly built parking lots are not so spacious. If it is grounded, cars like Carola or Camry are not much of a problem, but it is a bit difficult to park a 5-Series or 7-Series. Even if you can park the car, you can’t open the door and leave the car! I wonder if the designers of some parking lots have not come into contact with 5-series, 7-series and so on. Or is it that parking spaces and passageways are so narrow because of cost and other reasons? Anyway, it’s painful to drive this car in a narrow space!

Fourth: inspire your fighting spirit and let yourself live a good life.
I still remember that night when I picked up the car, I turned on Hit FM to listen to music, and soon played Avicii’s “Waiting For Love”. That was the first time I heard this song. Somehow I suddenly fell in love with this song. With the beautiful and cheerful song, I drove home happily all the way home, and I felt quite fulfilling. Yes, not only the car, but also other things. As long as you come into contact with some good things, you will make up your mind to make money and take them into your pocket. People have the right to pursue a better life, why do they have to spend their lives in mediocrity? In the struggle period of life, there will always be a heart unwilling to be mediocre, and there are many beautiful things in this world worthy of our pursuit.

My father bought this car. I hope that in the future, I will not only buy a door-to-door model, but also buy a medium-and high-end model with a horsepower of more than 200 horsepower. Take the 5-series as an example, it is best to buy 530iPower540i or even 550i. Never buy a three-cylinder car, even if it’s from Mercedes-Benz and BMW, ha!
