8. The drag feeling is quite serious when taxiing below 40 yards, which is said to be caused by energy recovery, so I always bring a little throttle when taxiing at low speed, so it will feel smoother.
9, chassis adjustment is too hard, coupled with sports explosion-proof flat tires, resulting in the vehicle over the speed reducer or potholed road surface jolted more severely. Some people may also like this more direct sense of road feedback, green vegetables and radishes have their own preferences.
10, the interior is really shabby, there are too many plastic parts, the workmanship is also relatively rough, lack of luxury, sorry for her price.
11. since the car entered the house, there was a strange noise in the cockpit from time to time, especially when it crossed the road. Later, it was found that it was the seat belt buckle of the passenger seat hitting the B-pillar. After trying to solve the problem, other abnormal noises occasionally appeared, but if there was no rule, I didn’t bother to deal with it. It should be noted that there is no abnormal noise when driving on a flat road.
12. I feel that the brake of F18 is not very linear, the front segment is relatively soft, and there is always a forward rush when braking. I have been driving for 5 years and still can not control this forward drive.
13. There will be a clatter in the chassis when parking turns, especially in the underground garage. I can’t say why even after asking BMW after sale, so I don’t care.
14. The atmosphere light in the cockpit is set to the brightest and can not be seen at night, which is more chicken rib.
15. My car trunk has a kick function, which sometimes fails, causing me to lose face in public. It should be noted that I have a knack for kicking.
16. The storage space is not very abundant, there is no special place to put the glasses case, and there is no room to use the mobile phone for navigation when driving.

I drive less. At present, the mileage of my car is less than 40,000 kilometers, which is very powerful in five years of use, and I haven’t dropped the chain. The problem is that there is a little oil leakage near the valve cover, which is solved after changing the valve cover pad; the electronic handbrake switch is broken and replaced free of charge during the warranty period.

The feature of the luxury suit is decorated with chrome-plated metal stripes to highlight luxury. In 14 years, the 5-Series has not launched the sports version, only the deluxe version, the fashion version and the leading version.

Mineral white car paint is very beautiful, can be described as the classic color of BMW, the paint shows pearl particles in the sun, the texture of the first class is great, I did not hesitate to choose this color. The mineral white will appear different white in different light, which can be seen in the picture. Ore white repaint process requirements are relatively high, poor technology of 4S shop repaint will have color difference.

The length size of the 5055mm makes the 5-series side look particularly slim, which makes the interior of the car very spacious. But the large size also brings a little trouble to parking, especially like our underground lift garage, which has to go back and forth several times before it can be put in place.

The width of the 1860mm and the height of the 1491mm provide plenty of room for stretching and vision for drivers. The shape of the positive face is round and the lines are smooth.

The tail shape is full and round, and the lines are concave and convex, which echoes with the positive face modeling, which is also more attractive.

The only regret at the tail is that the exhaust pipe is unilateral and does not look very coordinated. It would be perfect to adopt a bilateral layout like the G38.

The monotonous door handle looks very classy with chrome-plated decorative strips. Love car standard comfortable access, so the four door handles are equipped with sensors, as long as the handle will automatically unlock, so that the car keys do not have to take out, a very practical function. The only thing I’m not used to is that I can’t pull the handle to tell whether the door is locked or not. fortunately, it’s not a problem with a rearview mirror folding.

In line with the principle of small changes and pleasures, I made some decorations for the interior, using metal elements to set off some luxurious atmosphere, so as to match the appearance of luxury, the details of which I will mention in the following picture.

The match of mocha brown and black is very stable, and it doesn’t show dirt even after a long time. The space in the front row is very spacious for both the head and legs.

The multi-purpose steering wheel wrapped in real leather is not very sturdy, and the grip can only be said to be ordinary. The steering wheel will not return to normal automatically after turning, which is a little unaccustomed at first. In addition, the steering wheel is heavier when steering, which is understandable, because there is no empty position in the steering of the BMW, and if the steering wheel is too light, the vehicle will run around, which will cause safety risks. The faster the speed, the greater the steering wheel rotation damping, which is also based on safety considerations.

For the multi-function buttons of the second test of the steering wheel, I use more multimedia control buttons and rollers on the right. I don’t like to cruise at a constant speed on the highway for fear of getting sleepy, so the constant speed cruise button on the left has never been used.

The steering wheel can be electrically adjusted up and down, which is the adjustment dial key. in addition, the steering wheel also has a memory function, the vehicle flameout rises automatically, and the ignition sinks automatically.

The induction wiper lever on the right side of the steering wheel is really rough in workmanship.

The customized 12.3in programmable LCD digital dashboard has a classic shape, displays rich and colorful information, supports the switching of three driving modes, and is not out-of-date compared with today’s ID7 instruments. Since I spend most of my time driving on congested roads in the city, the fuel consumption shown by the car computer has been hovering around 12 liters / 100 kilometers.
In fact, the so-called digital meter only shows digital speed under the sports mode interface, and the sports mode interface can most stimulate men’s adrenaline, right?

The 10.2-inch central control screen is embedded under the central control panel, which has its own advantages from the popular suspension screen. Every time the big screen starts up, it will show this cool picture, which gives people a very warm feeling.

The function of central control large screen with the third generation IDriver human-computer interaction system is also very powerful. LCD large screen image resolution is quite high. My car is equipped with a single disc DVD and CD, but it is basically useless. I use the content downloaded from the USB flash drive to listen to music and watch videos.
I like listening to music when I drive, so I download a lot of audio and video songs from the Internet. After the capacity of the car hard disk 40G is partially occupied by system files, it is more than enough to store thousands of audio files. Video images can not be imported into the car hard drive, can only be enjoyed in the USB disk.

BMW’s classic electronic handle, commonly known as chicken leg, is easy to operate, and gear switching will be displayed in the instrument for easy observation. With the classic 8-speed hand self-integrated ZF gearbox, you can achieve a perfect handling experience. It’s a pity that my car gear belongs to chicken legs.

My car is a high-end model, the configuration is still relatively rich, steep slope, 360 panoramic view, image switching and so on, the conventional configuration should have.
However, the panoramic view of the F18 is not an omni-directional panorama, only the left and right measurements and the rear, but not the front, which is a bit imperfect.

Driving mode switch button, but only show the sports and comfort mode buttons, to use the economic mode also have to press the comfort mode button, I basically do not use the economic mode in driving, dominated by the comfort mode, supplemented by the sports mode.

One button to start, the following is the automatic start and stop button. Automatic start and stop is good, but it doesn’t feel good when the engine starts frequently on congested roads in the city, so I sometimes turn off automatic start and stop while driving, and several times I mistakenly press the engine flameout button above. As a result, the green light turned on the accelerator and the car did not move. I was embarrassed by a burst of horns behind. Later, I simply brushed the automatic start and stop function off to memory.

The central control button is full of plastic feeling, but the function of the display is clear at a glance, and the symbols on all the buttons will glow after the headlights are turned on at night, so it is easy to operate in the dark environment.

The standard 16-speaker Harman Catton sound is leveraged through the adjustment of the equalizer and the sound quality of the loudspeaker. Listening to wonderful music while driving can greatly relieve fatigue while driving and avoid the outbreak of road anger.

In addition to the nameplates on the tweeter on the A-pillar, all the other speakers also have Harman Catton’s nameplates, but I put these on myself, and of course the subwoofer can’t be affixed under the seat.

Headlights, fog lights and instrument brightness control knobs and buttons, I put the knob in the automatic gear, you don’t have to turn on the lights when driving.

All the doors have leather-wrapped arms and handles, mahogany with chrome-plated metal bars, the overall look is quite classy.

There are large bright mahogany panels in the front operating area, and there are chrome-plated metal strips on all the surfaces that need to be touched, so that no handprints will be left.

There are two sets of memory buttons in the driver’s seat, and I am the only one driving my car, so I only use button 1. This metal frame is also my masterpiece.

The control button on the door panel makes the black plastic parts look a little less classy.

The handle inside the door is fortunately the original chrome-plated metal, but the metal part of the outer frame is installed by myself, so that it can match the handle.

The metal door lift is also my masterpiece, which looks much better than the original black plastic parts. But to change this metal door lift, you need to remove the door panel.

All the pedals have been replaced with metal parts, which looks more athletic, doesn’t it? And the original rubber piece is really too low.

The area of the skylight is also large, and of course it can’t be compared with the panoramic skylight.

With automatic anti-dazzling function of the inner rearview mirror, there is an alarm warning light at the bottom, the engine will flash after flameout. There are rain and light sensors on the back of the rearview mirror, so I don’t have a traffic recorder or ETC.

I affixed the front reading lights and skylight control buttons and metal frames by myself.

The back row cosmetic mirror is illuminated by lights when it is opened, which is a more humanized design.

The standard rear-gear electric sunshade is not a high-end configuration, but it is more practical.

The two rear doors are also equipped with electric sunshades, which can not only block the sun in the scorching sun, but also protect the privacy of rear passengers.

Front seat belt tensioning device, automatic seat belt tensioning at a speed of more than 20 yards. The original plastic frame was also replaced by a metal frame. The passenger seat belt buckle will hit the B-pillar when driving on the road, which will cause a lot of noise. I put a sheath on the seat belt to avoid the impact, so there is no picture here.

The air outlet of the central air conditioner in the front row, the metal strip on the blade is the original, and the chrome-plated metal frame of the outer frame is my masterpiece. The air conditioning and cooling effect of F18 is really good, and it feels chilly when the temperature is set to 26 degrees in summer.

The 5 Series comes standard with three-zone automatic air conditioning, so the rear air conditioning can be independently controlled. The strange thing is that the blades on the rear air conditioning outlet did not have the original metal decorative strips, so I added them myself, so that they matched the front air conditioning outlet. A charging converter is also provided under the rear air conditioner.

There is also an air conditioning outlet on the rear B-pillar, and the metal decorative strips on the blades are also added by yourself. I am an obsessive-compulsive person and am too focused on perfection in doing things.

The front seats are wrapped in soft leather Nappa leather and supported by a good angle of the backrest. The ride comfort is excellent, and you won’t feel sore back even after driving long distances.

The front front and front driver seats are all six-way electrically adjustable, and also provide lumbar support and heating functions.

The head restraint of the front seat can be electrically adjusted up and down, and manually adjusted before and after. Unfortunately, the head support adjustment of the 14 F18 models has been dropped.

The back row space is really big, big. I’ll say important things three times. So every time I go out to play, relatives and friends like to ride in my car.

The rear seats are also wrapped in Nappa leather, and the backrest angle is relatively inclined, so the riding comfort is quite good, and the rear seats are also equipped with heating function. Because of the rear drive, the ground in the middle is convex higher, so the person sitting in the middle will not be comfortable to put up his feet.

The cover of the front armrest box can be opened twice, and the armrest area is very large, which can take care of the armrest needs of the driver and co-driver at the same time. Unfortunately, the storage volume inside is not too large.

The rear armrest provides a cup holder with the lid open for some magazines or newspapers. When not in use, you can flip it over and sit in the middle.

According to convention, the boss sits in the right rear seat, so the boss button is provided on the right rear door to control the co-driver seat. I added a metal frame to remind rear passengers of this button.

The volume of the glove box can only be said to be enough.

I equipped the car key with a bag. There was no need to take it out and add a key bag to protect it. The car key was still brand new.

Because I take great care of my car, the five-year-old car is as beautiful as a new car. It is really comfortable to look at and worry-free to use. Nothing is perfect in the world, and my car also has some flaws. Because of the blue sky and white clouds, I am tolerant.

With the launch of the new G38 5 Series, the F18 has withdrawn from the BMW production line, but the F18 will not withdraw from the historical stage. The classic design will always retain its charm as an immortal goddess and will continue to be loved by people. Salute to classics!
