Generally, the ignition coil should be replaced every 8-100000 km. When the engine is running, there is often tens of thousands of volts of high voltage pulse current on the ignition coil. because it works in the environment of high temperature, dustiness and vibration for a long time, it will inevitably cause aging or even breakage. If it is not replaced in time, it will affect the working performance of the engine. However, the 100000 km we are talking about is not a fixed replacement cycle, usually as long as the ignition coil works properly and there is no obvious aging on the surface, it does not need to be replaced.
Moreover, the aging ignition coil will reduce the ignition energy a lot, resulting in an increase in engine fuel consumption, a decrease in power, and, in serious cases, a fire break, etc., which is very harmful to the engine, especially when the engine has a ternary catalytic converter.
