For more than two months from November last year to January this year, my family visited almost all the 4S stores of major brands in Beijing, whether it was hatchback, hatchback, SUV, sports car, from less than 100000 Feido, Wechi to million-class 7-Series, S-Class. After a long comparison and thinking, our family of three each put forward their own favorite models.
My choice is flying, because my mother spends more than 90% of her time fighting on the morning and evening peak of the Beijing second Ring Road, which is suitable for economical, fuel-efficient and convenient parking cars. And Feido has a good reputation in the market, and it also feels good power and vision during the test drive. it is really a great car.
Dad’s choice is Camry, because considering that my mother is face-controlled, I have to say that the avant-garde version of the new Camry is really handsome, and the 2.5L A25A engine also has 40% heat engine efficiency, good economy, and easy to use. It’s also one of the best in an intermediate car.
Mom’s choice is BMW, did not give a specific model, the reason is very simple: BMW is good, just want to drive BMW
As the saying goes, the chief of staff is not long, and there is no farting, so my father and I are quickly criticized by pass (in fact, there seems to be no difference between my father and me on whether to help mom pick a car at all). The main contradiction has changed from which car to which BMW. It’s a quick choice. Mom thinks that 1 and 2 series are too small, 3 or 4 series interior plastic, 6 and 7 series meat ache, X series is useless in the city, M series she doesn’t understand the concept, so there are only 5 series left to choose from. The 5 series also had to choose whether to buy the long shaft or the standard shaft. 4S said that fewer people buy the standard shaft, and it will take a long time to ship it from Germany. Our car is booked in January, production is completed in February, and is expected to arrive in April. But in the end, due to some reasons, the vehicle entered the customs at the beginning of May, and the pick-up time was almost delayed by one month. What is even more ridiculous is that the ID card sent to the 4S store before picking up the car was thrown away as garbage by one of their staff, and we went to the store to ask for an explanation because we could not get the license plate before it was done. In order to apologize for the half-point car price offered by 4S, the store decoration was reduced to 12000, and the maintenance was sent for 3 years / 60,000km. Finally, the deal was completed with a naked car price of 35.9W and a landing price of 41.9W. The day of picking up the car happened to be May 25th, which can be regarded as the fate of this car.

It’s only been two weeks since I picked up the car, and it’s all driven by my mother, and it’s basically on the second Ring Road at the peak in the morning and evening, so I haven’t had a chance to experience the sports side of BMW. Based on her evaluation and my translator, it is concluded that the advantages of this car in urban road conditions are:
Comfortable (no setback in gear shift, good seat wrapping, light steering wheel, moderate suspension)
Quiet (sound insulation is good, but the sound of the engine is quite obvious outside the car)
Save fuel (unexpected joy, the running-in period is even more fuel-efficient than the Kaiyue at home, and BMW has never been expected to have this fuel consumption performance)
Fast (in fact, I think a power-to-weight ratio of 100 horsepower / ton is enough for urban road conditions)
Of course, there are some disadvantages:
Trouble-taking (the car is wide, the field of vision is affected, and you need to pay constant attention to walking and parking on urban roads)
Easy to get dirty (mysterious gray is really dirty, and the car is like climbing out of the quagmire after a light rain)
