I have passed the age of pursuing freshness, and prefer the classic design and the unique story between me and the car that time precipitates. The first car in life: the second-hand Volkswagen CC also became a thing of the past a year ago. It is still fresh in my memory and I often miss it.

The car was picked up on July 23, 19. On that day, a group of internal and external photos were taken as a souvenir of the new car. (see the previous post for details) this time this group of photos were taken on July 24, 20. After a year, it drove 13277 kilometers. There are no scratches and bumps on the exterior panel of the vehicle within one year. The choice of parking location is so careful that there is no sign of other people driving against the door. Unfortunately, on the highway to Shanghai on July 23, 20, the glass was smashed by a stone rolled up by a cart and there was a small damage. Later, the glass was repaired, and the defect could not be seen. There is no difference in appearance between the new car and the new car.

1. On the whole, it looks good. At first, I thought the design of the rear of the car was not good-looking, but after watching it for a long time, I thought it was OK. 1. It may be the pursuit of fuel saving, and the gear is higher in comfort mode. At a certain speed (around 60KM/H), if you gently step on the accelerator and the gearbox does not downshift, the engine will make the sound of following the manual gear too high and then stepping on the throttle. But just step a little deeper into the gearbox and lower the gear.
two。 The consumption of coolant is fast. The first guarantee time is 8000 kilometers, during which I probably replenished 1 liter of coolant to keep the kettle coolant in the MAX position under the condition of cold car. There is no shortage of coolant in the small pot. This is a common fault of B48 engine. The first insurance has done a pressure test, but no leak has been found. There is no solution to a common problem. Always have a bottle of coolant. It doesn’t have much impact.
3. After the first guarantee, when the fuel volume of the fuel tank is less than 1/4 or less than a quarter, there is a puff-like exhaust noise coming back from the right rear of the car. The sound of carbon canister solenoid valves. It is also a common fault, and there is a high probability that it will occur. The manufacturer’s solution is to upgrade the program. Needs to be reprogrammed. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big problem. Keep the original factory status unprocessed.
4. It is a clich é that the air-conditioning panels of high-end models are cracked. There is no solution to this problem, and it will crack soon after the change. Mine is blistering, releasing some of the stress, so the cracking is only a little bit. The individual can accept it and keep the original factory status unhandled.
5. Fuel consumption, the first tank of fuel measured 18.2L per 100 km. It stabilized at 15L per 100 km in the later stage. After the first guarantee, 100km in winter 13L to 14L, summer air conditioning 100km 14L to 15L. Note that my measured fuel consumption is filled up first and then mileage, and then filled up again next time, so that the fuel consumption is calculated according to the amount of fuel added and the mileage of running. I don’t drive gently, but I’m definitely not violent. Fuel consumption is measured in each tank. I usually have pure urban traffic lights, non-congested, non-elevated roads. However, once the car is on the highway or elevated, it will be very fuel-efficient. It’s not a flaw, it varies from person to person. Personally, I don’t think it saves fuel. It can be said that the normal fuel consumption is equal to the displacement of the body. As expected.
6. Drag at low speed, which is also a problem reflected by many cyclists. The specific situation is like this: release the throttle at a certain speed to slow down naturally, and there will be a sense of drag when you drop to 20KM/H. If this 20KM/H accelerates again when stepping on the gas pedal, there will be another setback. This problem tends to get worse at the end of the last year. Waiting for follow-up observation.
The last car’s gearbox was Volkswagen’s dry seven-speed double clutch DQ200, which is notorious. This car’s gearbox is currently one of the best BMW-trained ZF eight-speed. It can be said that this gearbox is smoother, more stable and more comfortable than the DQ200. But it also has all the problems with the automatic transmission. There is also the problem of low-speed frustration and low-speed drag. After driving, I think the DQ200 is not so bad, and the 8-speed ZF is not so good.
7. Since the spring of 20 years, the vehicles have appeared several small angle uphill, shaking and accompanied by “da da” noise. Personal analysis may be the problem of torque converter locking. It’s occasional and can’t be repeated. I haven’t been around for a long time lately. Waiting for follow-up observation
8. The air conditioner is not cold. The cooling effect of the automatic mode of the air conditioner is not very good, and there will be hot air under the feet when the temperature is 23.24 degrees. This is also one of the common faults. There is no solution. Only need to manually adjust the wind direction to blow all the upper body, turn off the automatic mode, the air conditioning cooling effect will be very good, even a little cold head.
9. The sports version of the tire drum bag, I have not had this problem. So don’t worry too much about what you didn’t buy. Keep four tires pressurized at 2.4bar. Drive as much as possible to avoid the pit, and slow down if you can’t. I haven’t had a drum bag for a year.

Before the first insurance, it feels like a lot of resistance and high fuel consumption. The engine feels a little hoarse when it runs over 2000 revolutions. 8000 kilometers first insurance, using 0W-30 engine oil. It feels like a change of car. The engine noise is significantly lower and the start is smooth. At this time, I found that the BMW is really easy to drive. After 10,000 kilometers, the engine and gearbox became smoother and smoother, and the engine noise further reduced. I think this process should be running-in. It takes 10,000 kilometers to reach this state. Therefore, it is suggested that we should do the first insurance as soon as possible. great changes have taken place. Try not to drive violently within 3000 kilometers. There are instructions in the manual.
