BMW 5 Series air replacement filter method (rich people please detour)

The method is very simple. Avoid advertising. The logo on the new air filter has been coded. It was bought at a Jingdong self-operated store for 41 yuan.
Facing the front of the car, the plastic box on the left.
There are 6 screws. Use a T20 socket hexagon screwdriver (electric is recommended) and try to buy a longer one. It is best to exceed 10cm. If it is too short, it is unlikely that 2 screws will be removed.
I bought it at XBao. It is 3.2 yuan for 2 pieces. The length is 10cm. The recommended is 15- 20cm.
The following steps:
1. First use a knife, point it at the white plastic buckle on the sensor, and move backwards (in the direction of the passenger side). Don’t use too much force. Gently push it and it will open. Then hold down the white button and pull it backwards. After a while, the entire buckle will disengage.
2. Use a linear knife to loosen the hoop attached to the empty filter cover (the largest one on the far left). After loosening it, use a linear knife to gently push outwards the tube connected to the cover side.
3. Use a T20 screwdriver to loosen the 6 screws on the cover.
4. Gently lift the lid.
5. Remove the air filter that needs to be replaced.
6. Clean the empty filter box.
7. Install a new air filter (no tricks at all, only one direction can be put down).
8. Close the lid (be careful not to get the screws stuck in the box).
9. Plug in the sensor and push the white buckle forward into place with a little force.
10. Tighten the hoop with a linear knife.
11. Tighten 6 screws with a T20 screwdriver.
All done.

Sensor snaps. Just use a flat-nose screwdriver to turn it.

Remove the rear sensor.

Remove the empty filter cover and the hoop joint.

I bought two T20 screwdrivers for 3.2 yuan.

Remove the old air filter, it’s a little dirty.

Clean up the empty filter box. It was originally dirty, but this one has already been cleaned. It’s best to smoke it casually, because there are many dead insects and other things inside.

The new air filter avoids advertising and removes the brand. I bought it in Jingdong for 40.5 yuan.

Put a new empty filter.

This picture shows the usual high-speed fuel consumption. Now the total kilometers are close to 68,000 kilometers, and the average fuel consumption is 7.3. The high-speed fuel consumption is relatively low. In addition to frequent air filter replacement, it is recommended to add PEA every 5,000 – 10,000 kilometers (it is a fuel treasure, which is deployed by yourself, and the cost is about 1/5 of the finished product)
