The main features of BORDER’s LSD differential lock: mechanical structure, locking rate 40% Mur80%, progressive locking, easier maintenance, no difference between noise and strengthening curve grip, suitable for fierce street driving, highway and race track driving.
In general, the original factory is equipped with open differential, there will be the problem of wheel speed difference, when turning quickly, there will be the problem of one side of the wheel skidding and idling, losing grip, resulting in power loss, modified LSD limited slip differential can provide a certain lock, improve wheel speed difference, faster through the bend.
Limited slip differential, English name is LimitedSlipDifferential, abbreviated as LSD. An improved differential that restricts wheel sliding, refers to a differential in which the speed difference between the driving wheels on both sides is allowed within a certain range to ensure fast turning performance. LSD can be divided into several types according to its structure, and each LSD has its own special features.
BORDERLSD limited slip differential is generally divided into two types, mechanical (Tolson type) LSD and grinding type LSD, you can see from the box, grinding type will also be divided into 1WAY, 1.5WAY, 2WAY and other specifications.

First release the oil in the gearbox, and then remove the main body of the gearbox.
Clean up the carbon dust accumulated at the gearbox joint. (please pay attention to wearing a mask when cleaning)
Remove the shift mechanism of the gearbox
Open the shell and you can see the open differential of the original factory, with the shift gear on the left and the differential on the right.
Remove shift gear, tail tooth, differential and other parts.

Now you need to install the relevant accessories on the differential lock of the BORDER, first install the tail tooth.
Remove the bearing using a special tool.
Press the bearing into the BORDER limited slip differential on the press.
The installation of the relevant accessories is completed, put into the gearbox, the original position to replace the installation.
Clean up the stains and dust at the fixed points around the gearbox housing.
Reglue the gearbox shell.
Reload the gearbox housing.
Load the gearbox with BORDERLSD limited slip differential into the car.
Add new gear oil, you can use a higher grade gear oil, such as 75W140.
