Record of Regal upgrading and replacing brake fluid and brake pads
Drive the car into the workstation
Open the hood
Unscrew the brake oil can
Measure the water content
2.5%. Although it did not exceed the standard, it has exceeded the two-year recommended replacement time limit, so I’d better replace it.
Measure the water content of the new brake fluid
The water content is close to zero, which is expected
Get on the lift platform and start changing brake fluid
Remove the hub
braking system
Get the oil can in place
Align the brake slave cylinder oil drain bolts there
Press the brakes in the car to put pressure on the oil line so that the old oil can be drained out
In a short while, I collected so much
The old one is gone, the new one is here
The next fetal position
It is still necessary to align the oil drain bolt and tighten it to ensure tightness and no leakage
continue to step on
continue to add
There are still two fetal positions, and I won’t go into details. Anyway, remember to follow the order from far to near: right posterior-left posterior-right anterior-left anterior. The old oil collection in the four fetal positions is as above, and the family should be neat and tidy.
Then I replaced the brake pads
The prepared wear-resistant brake pads were recommended by riders. The reputation and effect are very good
Tighten the screws of the brake cylinder
Remove old brake pads
The new film is loaded into the branch pump
You can clearly see that one piece in front and back, and the middle is the reserved position for the brake disc
Reset, place firmly, and fit tightly
The piston of the brake cylinder requires a special return tool
Install the brake cylinder back
Tighten the screws at the back
OK, it’s basically changed
Take a closer look
Put the hub back on
The screws are also stable and the operation on the other side is basically similar
Get off the elevator and you’re basically done.
This running ledger record is completed, and there is no technical content, haha
For everyone to have a general view and reference, maybe you will have an idea next time when you need it.
