TTU valve tail exhaust is made of street series stainless steel. TTU exhaust and RES exhaust are produced in the same factory and belong to the brand of the Car Network Alliance. TTU is positioned at a higher end, developing exhaust products for some supercars and other models, mainly promoting titanium alloy exhaust products. Without caring about the material, choosing stainless steel series is more cost-effective.

The exhaust installation of the Audi R8 model is complex and requires the removal of a series of accessories such as the rear bumper, tail fin, air intake, etc., which takes a lot of time and the construction is more complicated.

Removing tail fin

The connection bayonet for the exhaust is below, and the engine’s intake system needs to be disassembled to separate the tail section.

Then install the original exhaust heat shield on the new exhaust and start installation.

The new exhaust and the front half of the original vehicle exhaust are connected in a bayonet form.

Connect the bayonet on the front of the exhaust and adjust the position of the exhaust tail port.

Various trim panels in the engine compartment are waiting to be installed.

The exhaust tail port is connected to the rear lever and fixed to the rear lever and does not need to be replaced.

Wrap the wiring harness connected to the valve exhaust with insulation tape and insulation pipe.

The valve exhaust wiring harness is connected to the control box, then placed in the engine compartment, found a suitable position, and fixed with a cable tie.

The exhaust of this TTU valve can be controlled using mobile phone software, which is very convenient to control the switch of the exhaust valve.

Install the tail fin.

Adjust the position of the tail port for new exhaust.

Once the exhaust installation is completed and the control box debugging is completed, the rear bars are installed. Be sure to debug the rear bars well before installing them, otherwise it may be reworked back and forth, which will be very troublesome to remove them.
