In the past, I always felt that Carola’s CVT stepless gearbox did not need to be maintained for life, and many people around me transmitted this idea to me that the stepless gearbox did not have to be maintained and changed oil for life, so I did not change the oil even after running more than 100,000 kilometers. So far, my engine and gearbox are in good condition, and most of the maintenance is done in the Yifeng 4s store where I buy the car. The oil I often maintain and change is Toyota pure brand 0W20 oil, and the engine air filter element is also Toyota pure brand, and I regularly buy bottles of carbon cleaner in the fuel tank at an interval of 20, 000 kilometers. Because I still cherish the car, sometimes I may drive to other places to stay for a period of time, so I occasionally change the oil in some local fast insurance stores. After I bought a car, I drove this Corolla, and it felt good, so later I introduced my friends and bought a Toyota. We both had the wrong car for a year, but we both drove the same mileage, because my friend’s car often runs long distances. But a few days ago, my friend suddenly called and asked me to drive him to the Auto Trade City, because his car was lent to relatives for a day to do business, and then the car suddenly stepped on the accelerator and never left again, so the car was later towed to a repair shop in the Auto Trade City. and the repair shop checked that the gearbox should be broken, but also need to take apart the gearbox to check. After we got there, the gearbox took apart the oil pan, and almost everyone at the scene was shocked. The chain in the CVT gearbox was broken, because there was no power transmission of the chain, so even at the accelerator, the car’s gearbox would not run even if it was broken. Later, because the cost of repairing the gearbox was too high, the repair shop even the man-hour fee and the gearbox accessories and oil cost about five or six thousand yuan, but fortunately, the relatives of my friends also had a certain relationship. I didn’t know where to get a CVT continuously variable transmission of the same model that looked good when the car was dismantled. Finally, the car was repaired. Through this matter, I think that since the CVT stepless gearbox is mechanical, it must need maintenance to run for such a long time, knowing that it is impossible for the mechanical parts to work to produce zero friction, not to mention that the car runs at such a high speed, sometimes the load is particularly heavy and the time is long, the oil inside will definitely deteriorate, and it will not play such a good protective role as when the new car is used. So I consulted some car repairmen and some after-sale professionals, and finally decided to change my car to CVT continuously variable transmission oil. Since I have run so many kilometers, I should take good care of it. And because the original car used so much mileage is no problem, so this maintenance or decided to go to Yifeng 4S store to change oil, using Toyota pure brand CVT infinitely variable transmission oil. The change of transmission oil used a total of two barrels of Toyota pure brand CVT stepless transmission oil, and the 4S store does not need to disassemble the oil pan, even with the gearbox oil circulation machine to replace, in fact, I am not willing to disassemble the oil pan, and the effect of this method of changing oil also looks good, it is obvious that the new oil goes in from the transparent pipe, and the black old oil circulates out from the transparent pipe. This time, I think the oil change is still very thorough, and the two Toyota masters who work for me are also skilled and professional, and the whole car is checked once after the oil change.

The main reason for changing the oil this time is that my friend’s CVT gearbox is broken, so I decided to change the CVT CVT oil after driving my car to Yifeng Sale.

After the oil pan of my friend’s gearbox was taken apart at that time, I found that the chain inside was broken.

This time, a total of two barrels of Toyota’s original CVT stepless transmission oil was used to replace the oil. Two barrels of oil cost more than 600 yuan, plus the man-hour fee for changing the oil. To put it bluntly, it is a sign of peace of mind to change the oil after sale.

I think Toyota’s gearbox oil package says that the CVT gearbox has a shelf life of five years, but doesn’t it have to be replaced for life if it is added to the car gearbox? So I’m more sure that this oil needs to be changed.

When changing the CVT gearbox oil, the after-sale worker pushed over a relatively large gearbox oil changer, saying that it was necessary to clean up the old oil in the gearbox through this machine cycle.

Because I installed the lower guard plate of the engine, when changing the oil, the master knocked off the fixing screw with a wind cannon and took it off.

The lower guard of the engine I installed is quite heavy. It has rubbed against the chassis before to avoid hitting the engine oil pan, because the screws are not easy to disassemble, so the two masters cooperate.

The lower guard of the engine turned because the screws were rusty, so the two masters removed it for a while before taking it off, and then exposed the oil pan of the gearbox. The screws on the oil pan of the gearbox had never been moved and the oil had not been changed.

I took another look at the transmission oil cover of Toyota’s original factory. There is an anti-counterfeit QR code printed on it. There will certainly be no fake when it is replaced here.

Later, after standing by and chatting with the master, I realized that I needed to install this special joint on the gearbox and then connect it to the gearbox to change the oil.

There are two transparent glass windows on both sides of the exchanger, one is showing new oil, the other is old oil, and there is a pressure gauge in the middle. Yifeng’s after-sale equipment is quite good, and the workshop is relatively clean.

I have been driving this car for many years, and the maintenance is really good. So far, there is no problem, and the tires have been changed.

The last time I came for maintenance, the workshop master wore the same kind of red overalls. This time, I found that this master was wearing new overalls. This kind of overalls were well designed. The master rolled up his sleeves and was removing the plastic shield in front of the gearbox.

When I came here, I told the master that I wanted to take some pictures to share with other riders how to change the gearbox oil. Later, the master pointed out to me that I needed to remove this radiator.

Because this plastic guard plate is in the way, after removing the fixed clip, pull it over with wire to avoid getting in the way.

The chassis armor is sprayed after buying a car, which will more or less play the role of sound insulation and anti-rust. When I first bought a car, it was relatively fresh, so I wanted to do everything.

The tires have already been changed, but they still use large brands of tires when they are changed. At that time, they just arrived at Yifeng after-sale tires to engage in buy three get one free activities.

The master is still disassembling, and the radiator is not very easy to disassemble, mainly because it is not easy to start.

I asked about it and found that this master had been working for five or six years. He said that Corolla actually has a low failure rate, and the gearbox is usually not easy to break. The main reason is that driving should be taken care of and maintenance should be timely.

I prefer cars and like to join in the fun. The new Corolla that is being maintained next to me is a 1.2t engine. This engine with T requires more oil than mine.

Why did I feel that it was easier to install it than to remove it? Later, I thought about it and found that the radiator was thicker and the joint was thinner, so it might be easier to start.

After it was installed, I quickly took another photo. When other riders saw it, they would know where the oil replacement would take place in the future.

When changing the oil, you have to add the positive and negative electrodes of the gearbox oil changer with a connection to the battery to power the gearbox oil changer and make it work.

Later, after the car started, the gearbox oil changer started to work. You could see the oil flowing inside. New oil could be seen in the window on the left, and old gearbox oil could also be seen flowing in the pipe on the right.

The oil change process of its practical machine is quite fast, but the main delay is in disassembling and assembling the radiator.

After the car was lifted, the connectors that were originally installed were removed again

It took more than ten minutes to drive after the car was hit. Later, the master tried to shift gears again and loosened the screw on the oil pan. This time, he learned that after the screw was unscrewed, slowly dripping oil showed that the oil volume was right. Right.

After changing the oil this time, I checked the battery again. The main reason was that the epidemic had stopped for several days ago, and when I took a taxi, I felt that the starting was a little slow.

I checked it and found that the battery is really bad. Recently, funds have been a little tight, so I will replace it in a few days.
