The main reason was that even the knocking sound of the cylinder when accelerating and starting basically disappeared. This is very cool! (Intake manifold assemblies that are more than 10 years old have no repair value); About a year ago, all the front suspension system was replaced. The straight swing arm, curved swing arm, suspension arm, suspension bucket, tower top flat bearing, etc. All that could be replaced were replaced (the steering gear was not moved). The car still felt a little loose when driving. After this repair, it was actually discovered that it was a problem with the steering gear assembly. Oil leakage and the gap became larger. After this repair, the whole car was very neat and there was no noise at all. It was very stable when running at a high speed and didn’t float at all! If everyone’s old E has this problem, he can go to the steering machine! For replacement or maintenance, replace the assembly with a new assembly if you don’t need money. It will not become heavier when steering. If you repair the steering gear, it will become heavier. Everyone must be mentally prepared! It just feels very neat and close to the ground!
The cost of health care this time is very small, just a few thousand yuan, and even labor (the auto repair shop only charged me a total of 500 yuan for working hours for so much, which is very cheap). Note: The gearbox computer board (350 yuan) and the steering gear overhaul (500 yuan) were repaired at another specialized repair shop. There was also a manual replacement for the driver’s seat leather seat cover outside for 60 yuan. I didn’t know how to replace it at all!
All the maintenance costs this time do not cost the cost of replacing the intake manifold assembly in a 4S shop!
