The last time I posted was during the New Year, and in the blink of an eye, wintersweet withered and spring has arrived. It’s the best time to travel again, and it’s time for the car to be maintained. I always felt that the engine was roaring and accelerating smoothly, and the idle speed was a little shaky. The noise is also a little obvious. In order to go out and play comfortably, I made an appointment for maintenance on March 4th to record it and share my feelings over the past few days.
I arrived at the store around 2:00 p.m., and the master was already waiting for me. Because those who have an appointment are reliable. Getting to the main topic, I inspected first and then constructed. The master saw that my car had a serious carbon deposit and had to clean up the carbon deposit, change the oil, air filter, and spark plug.
Open the hood, first clean the dirt on the surface, and then start to clean up the carbon deposits. This time the product the master gave me was this Aisin oily combustion chamber cleaner. To be honest, I have not used it before, but with Aisin’s brand endorsement, I don’t think this cleaner is bad.
First, the master used an endoscope to see and record the cleaning of carbon deposits in the engine cylinder through the mapping on the mobile phone.
Then, pour a bottle of Aisin combustion chamber carbon deposit cleaner into each cylinder.
This time, we used a pulsed carbon deposit control machine. The common ones on the market are generally dry ice type. The flushing type seems to clean carbon deposits more thoroughly, including difficult places such as the top of the piston, the top of the combustion chamber, and the piston gas ring. Can be cleaned up.
It took about half an hour to clean the carbon deposit. Let’s see the effect.
After cleaning, the engine cylinders are much cleaner, and the surface area carbon has been basically removed. The next step is routine maintenance and oil change
Let out the old oil and drive more than 8000 kilometers since the last oil change. The color is very dark, but I accept it.
After draining the oil, the machine filter must also be replaced accordingly
Add new oil. Because of the maintenance done at the Aisin meized stores, the engine oil is of course also used under the Aisin brand. The model number is 5W40. This 5W40 engine oil is refined from VHVI(Very High Viscosity Index) base oil and high-performance additives. It has good low-temperature fluidity and fuel economy, and can better protect the smooth operation of the engine.
The next step is the basic maintenance process of replacing the air filter, spark plug, and adding glass water.
After the replacement, the master worked very seriously and responsibly. He conducted a detailed diagnosis of the vehicle and could drive away if there were no problems.
The whole process took about 3 hours in total. It was done very carefully and the whole process felt very professional. The car has been driving for a week after maintenance. Let me tell you how I feel.
The vehicle feels like it is back to when it was a new car, the engine noise is significantly less, and the acceleration is smoother. Idle speed has also become much more stable, and fuel consumption has dropped by more than one, which is indeed an unexpected surprise. The post will probably be written here.
