After the reservation is successful, a QR code for car inspection will be generated and saved to the mobile phone. It will be used for car inspection and license plate selection (random selection). If there are conditions, it can be printed out. Our appointment is to go through the formalities on November 8, 2022. Before departure, as prompted by the DMV, prepare all relevant information: the information required for the transfer of motor vehicles (electronic transfer):

6. If the motor vehicle is jointly owned by two or more persons, the notarization certificate of joint ownership of the motor vehicle shall also be submitted. If the motor vehicle is jointly owned by both husband and wife, it shall provide a “marriage certificate” or a “household registration book” that can prove the relationship between husband and wife (with one kind of household registration book, however, I have brought two marriage certificates and two marriage certificates. Only one copy is ok), index certificate, insurance policy (check not to collect), the original number plate, and the need for both parties to be present. (this is the case with my move-in.)

When I looked up the information on the Internet, I saw that others went to the Nanshan vehicle registration service station, because this service station was next to the DMV (in fact, it was next to the examination site for subject 1). I asked about the DMV. I thought I was here, so I navigated to this position early in the morning and rushed to the second floor to hand in the materials. The staff told me that I had gone wrong, about the DMV. It is not this point in Nanshan, it is the point of the DMV. Fortunately, it is not far away. I ran back to the parking lot next to the DMV (it is written at the gate of the DMV, just a little to the west). The reservation channel on the web page does not have a Nanshan vehicle registration service station (but on that day I saw someone else go there to handle it. I don’t know from what channel).

I am re-navigating (Gaode) to this position: 128 Longjing Road, which is the location of the DMV (head office). However, it is not allowed to enter here. I have to go to the parking lot next to it and check it. It is estimated that it is more appropriate to navigate directly to the new vehicle inspection area of Shenzhen New DMV. However, I have come here many times before. I probably know the location. You should pay attention to entering the parking lot. It is necessary to get a card. So when driving, you should pay attention to the place to pick up the card on the left, otherwise, like seeing the owner in front of you, far away and unable to get the card, it’s a bit awkward! Fortunately, in the end, a staff member came to help, otherwise, he would have to stop and unfasten his seat belt. Because at that time to deal with the business changed the license or something, it can not recognize, if it is licensed to do business, there will be four hours of free parking time. If it is a transfer of ownership, the system will record four hours of business time, go out without scanning the code, just give the card to the person at the door to open the door and leave. Scanning the code will indicate the license plate number and how much free parking time there is. Normally, the business can be done in four hours.

It is better for two people to do it. One is driving, the other is handing in the information, and the car that turns in after it stops in line at the inspection point and turns off. The other person gets out of the car and registers and checks the data inside. Note that the system here can only be handled 25 minutes in advance. That is, for example, I have an appointment at 10 o’clock, and I can only arrive at 09:30 in advance and pick up the number for inspection at 09:35. Of course, it’s better to go early. Prepare the information in advance.
According to the sign, when you come here, notice that there is a new car on the right and an old car on the left. if you move into the car, you can’t change it when you take the wrong road. In addition, there is generally no rubbing frame number. When you come to this position, that is, under Nanpinggao Road, there is a cabin with a service point for free rubbing, photography, and license removal, because you want to move into the rubbing, you can stop by the side and ask the people inside to help with rubbing. I asked him for rubbing paper and did it himself. I know where my frame number is, and I have done it before. However, no one said before, I just put the whole piece of paper on it, followed by an intermediary (say thank you here! It is said that this is not the case, tear off the rubbing paper (sticker), stick it to the frame number in front of the engine, and then scrape it back and forth with your nails, preferably with an ice cream stick or an one-dollar coin to scrape.

After it is done, you can drive in and queue up, and the other person can go in and hand in the information. At this time, you don’t receive any information, just go in and get a number. The staff just check the relevant information to see if there are any mistakes or omissions. If you get the number, you can wait outside for the car inspection.
Drive in and check the car, pay attention to follow the car in front, there will be a lane on the right, it is convenient for a car to take this road to leave the field, do not occupy.
The inspection of the car was very careful. I heard LD say that there was a car ahead, and it was not possible to put a film on the lights. If the car film is poor, the light transmittance is not good. My car, I looked at the inspector very carefully to see if the engine had been modified, and even checked inside the car one by one. My car was fine, there was no modification or anything, and there was no question.
After listening to the instructions of the staff, after the inspection of the car, you can drive the car to the small house that has just rubbed the license plate, and the other person will have to go in with all the materials to get the number and wait. Drive ahead, turn left to the most side of the road to the dismantled cabin, notice that here according to the arrow line on the ground should be regarded as retrograde, other cars will come in, pay attention to safety.

All the formalities are completed here in the motor vehicle inspection and acceptance hall, and there is no need to go to the DMV office upstairs.

After dismantling the license plate, I came in with the license plate to find LD rendezvous. There is a hint on the sign, and the mobile phone of the new owner of the reservation will also have a text message from time to time. Pay attention to check not to pass the sign, because you will not use the radio to shout, just pay attention to the screen above. It is my turn to hand in all the materials and follow the prompts. Most people choose to send iron cards by mail. Because I am close, I choose to come back and get them. In addition to the recovery of the original license plate, the original driving license, the vehicle registration certificate, the other is just to check the information, both sides take pictures, and it will be done soon.

Then the staff will give you a receipt, after scanning the code to pay the fee, you can take this order to the machine to scan the temporary card.

Take the bar code just completed to play the temporary card on the machine, it will automatically play the temporary card out. There is no choice here, only this kind of temporary card that runs in Shenzhen.

I didn’t play the temporary card until I had chosen the number, and there was a machine that played the temporary card, and the temporary card was to scan the bar code on the receipt, as shown in the picture, but this temporary license was only used in Shenzhen. However, unlike my previous license on my new car in Guangzhou, I didn’t have a driving license on the same day, so I can understand why I didn’t give it to a temporary license that could run far. Cross-city commuters should pay attention.



The temporary license is also only valid for 15 days.

Note that the card selection is to scan the QR code that has just been tested, that is, the one after the reservation has been successfully checked in. Take the QR code just now, go to the license plate selection machine to choose the license plate, 120 seconds 50 choose 1, there is nothing to say, like which one to choose. The first one is selected by default, and if not, the first one should be selected automatically. Note that it is a bit difficult to scan the code here. I don’t know the approximate location. I should try it several times. After the scan is successful, it will be prompted. Guess which card was chosen?
It’s not convenient without a driver’s license. And then there is the question of insurance. When the license plate is played, the license plate is selected, and the whole process of moving in is finished. There are not many people dealing with it now. if they are familiar with the process (such as an intermediary), it will take about two hours. We have done it for about two and a half hours to three hours. The whole process is completed in the service station, and there is no need to go to the office hall above the DMV. At present, because the epidemic situation is still relatively severe, the transfer of ownership is not arranged too much, the overall appointment is also good, and not many people do things, so it is relatively stable to be ready for 24-hour nucleic acid.

To take the iron plate is also to print and disassemble the hut. Remember to bring the temporary card (we rode a bike to get it, but we didn’t drive a car). However, we should pay attention to the fact that the iron plate will not be notified when it arrives. You have to run to ask yourself. It’s usually about a week or so. I waited more than a week to get there (the temporary license is valid for 15 days). Similarly, the driving license and vehicle registration certificate have to come back to the acceptance hall to get it. You don’t have to make an appointment, and you’ll come and get it after receiving it (it is said that you will get it three days later, but we won’t get it until the fourth working day for insurance). If you send it by mail, I don’t know if the driving license is received together with the license plate (LD ran to get the driving license, didn’t go to the cabin to ask if the iron plate arrived, and ran twice). We choose to pick up is relatively close to the DMV, usually less use of cars, working days is parked in the parking lot. If you usually need a car to commute to and from work, it is recommended to mail it to the downstairs of the company and install it immediately after receiving it, which is much more convenient. After all, the current automatic identification system is still not convenient for licensing. Personally, I still prefer the iron card to the temporary card. On November 18, 2022, go to get the iron medal back.

Another thing to note is that if the license plate is changed, the original insurance must also contact the insurance company to change it accordingly. Otherwise, if anything happens, I wonder if there will be any trouble. In addition, if ETC has been applied for before, the ETC of the original vehicle will also be changed, and a new ETC will have to be applied again. Reserve more time and go to the destination first to familiarize yourself with the relevant situation. Otherwise, if there is anything that needs to be done, it will be difficult to do it if there is too little time.
