Several people made an appointment with a bureau the night before last. During dinner, a friend said that he was going to Beijing on a business trip by high-speed rail for a few days. He had already made an appointment with the Yifeng after-sales service station in the city. On March 5, the Yifeng after-sales service station would arrange for the master to come to the auto trade city in the county to do the door-to-door service. But it is estimated that he will not be able to drive himself to do the recall on this business trip. And my friend didn’t want to drive the car to the far urban area and make a special trip to Yifeng after-sales service station to do this waste gas valve recall, so later he gave me the car keys and asked me to help drive the car to do the waste gas valve recall early in the morning of March 5. Because usually several people have a good relationship, so this favor must be helped, and it is not very complicated. I just drive the car early in the morning, let the professional Toyota after-sales master change it, and listen to them say that it will take about 15 to 20 minutes to change this thing for recall. I got up early in the morning on March 5th. First I drove this Asian dragon to Cangxiang Street in the county seat, drank a bowl of authentic Danji mutton soup, and then drove to the Automobile Trade City in the northeast corner of the county seat. I drove to the Auto Trade City at about 08:20, and then I found the door of the after-sales repair shop at the local Chiron Auto Trade, but at that time the facade houses were not open, so I waited for about five or six minutes. At about 08:30, the staff of Yifeng after-sales service station in the city drove over, drove an off-road vehicle, opened the trunk and pulled a car full of original Toyota accessories, with all kinds of Toyota oils and various Toyota filter elements. Because they had already made an appointment, they specially brought in a set of waste gas valves for recall of Asian Dragon gasoline engines from the city. Opened the box to see a relatively new waste gas valve, and there are several sealed washers, heard the master said that these are improved, the previous problems may be the material and design problems, this part may be later corrosion, the most serious may be stalled while driving. Later, after registering the information of the car, I signed another signature on the work order, and the maintenance master began to change the exhaust valve. in short, the master who changed the exhaust valve was very skillful. He changed this thing in about 15 minutes. When I changed it, I took some photos of my friends and posted them on Wechat. Later, a friend sent a message on Wechat saying that after the change, he wanted to have a comprehensive inspection of the car, focusing on the chassis, so later the car was driven back to the elevator, and the masters propped up the car and lifted it again, and checked the chassis thoroughly again. When checking the chassis, the most important thing is to see if there is anything wrong with the suspension, including shock absorbers and brake pads, and replenish the air pressure of the four wheels. The door-to-door service of Yifeng after-sales service station in the urban area is really good, the car owner does not have to go all the way to the city, and the inspection of the car is not careless, it seems that the work is very serious. It took about 10 or 20 minutes to replace the exhaust valve for the recall, and then it took more than ten minutes to check the chassis. In short, it took me half an hour to drive the car over this time, because I was the first car to drive there. So the early bird caught the worm, which basically didn’t prevent me from doing other things during the day.

When removing the fixing screw, you have to use two different types of wrenches to remove the screw and rod completely.
It turned out later that it was a planting wire, screwed on the exhaust valve at one end and a nut at the other.
It took less than two minutes to remove one screw, and then began to remove the second fixing screw.
Later, a black plastic hollow pipe was removed, because this thing is also connected to the waste gas valve, so it must be removed to replace the waste gas valve.
Later, another master came to help, and the planting silk on the new waste gas valve had to be removed before it could be loaded into the car.
The original car was finally removed with that waste gas valve, and then the bag of the gasket was torn open for installation.
There is a big black gasket on top of the engine first. The cushion is very thin and feels like a metal.
Then I began to install the waste gas valve and asked the worker. I later knew that in some cases, the waste could be reused, so this thing was specially designed on the car.
