When the temperature drops, the first thing to pay attention to is the tire pressure of the car tire, as the only part of the vehicle in contact with the ground, after all, the tire is related to the safety of the car. Compared with spring, summer and autumn, the tire pressure in winter should be increased by 0.2-0.3 and kept at about 2.5-2.6. Appropriate tire pressure can not only reduce tire wear and prevent tire deformation caused by low pressure from increasing fuel consumption, but also help to maintain the maneuverability and stability of the vehicle.
When knowing that the temperature is going to drop below zero, the room temperature glass water should be emptied in time, and the anti-freezing type should be added in time to prevent the use or damage of the water storage tank due to the freezing of low-temperature glass water.
Winter car to develop the right hot habit, usually I start the car will idle for 7-10 seconds, and then drive at a low speed for a period of time, when the water temperature is normal, you can drive routinely. On the one hand, the oil can have sufficient time to lubricate the relevant parts of the engine and reduce the wear of the parts. It is also because the gasoline from the injection nozzle of the engine can be fully atomized at the normal working temperature, which is conducive to the full mixing of gasoline and air, thus improving the fuel efficiency of the vehicle, reducing fuel consumption and reducing the formation of carbon deposition inside the engine. The idle fuel consumption of the engine before and after reaching the normal operating temperature can be compared from the following two pictures.
There is a large temperature difference between inside and outside the car in winter, so it is easy for drivers to enter the car because of the fog formed on the glass surface of the car, which affects the driving line of sight, and it is also very time-consuming to deal with it. I usually carry out anti-fog operation regularly, and the house spray can be sprayed and wiped. This problem can be easily solved, although it can only be maintained for more than a month, but it saves the time of preparing for daily car travel.
Due to the dry weather in winter, the leather part or chair cover of the vehicle interior will be maintained in advance to prevent leather cracking and delay its aging process. Leather coating spray is easy to operate, spray and wipe decontamination and wax can be completed simultaneously, which can effectively moisturize the leather.
The low temperature in winter also has a great impact on the vehicle battery. Before my vehicle was suspended for a week in winter, there was a power loss alarm. Because the age of the car is not long, several alarms have little impact on the use of the car. But every year I go to the store to maintain and ask the master to help check the status of the tram. If the vehicle is suspended for a long time, I will also remove the battery negative wiring so that the power consumption of the equipment will not affect the tram life.
I have consciously turned off this configuration of daytime driving lights in order to save electricity in winter, but it is very useful to think about the configuration of snowy and foggy weather in winter, which can effectively improve the identification of vehicles in bad weather. it is easy to identify vehicles, and it is also very important for driving safety.
